The Dolphins signed Harris to a one-year deal Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Harris had the best season of his career in 2023, playing 507 defensive snaps while also racking up 43 tackles. • Justin Simmons: Set to be released by Denver

The Broncos will release Simmons on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The 30-year-old safety had one year remaining on the four-year, $61 million contract that he signed in 2021 after being franchise-tagged for a second straight offseason. Simmons has long been regarded as one of the league's better safeties, with multiple interceptions in each of his eight pro seasons (30 overall) and at least 69 tackles seven seasons in a row. The 27-year-old had been scheduled for restricted free agency this offseason, but Denver will allow him to explore his options on the open market. He most likely won't be guaranteed a starting gig at his next stop and may have to settle for a rotational role along the defensive line.
