The Texans have announced that linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (illness) was back on the practice field Thursday.
Clowney missed practice Wednesday with what he described as a "normal cold". He's expected to play this week against the Titans.

Texans defensive end J.J. Watt (back) intends to play Sunday, reports Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Watt apparently injured his back Sunday against Miami, but the "minor back injury" likely won't affect the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year for the long term.

Texans star pass-rusher J.J. Watt did not practice Wednesday due to a "minor back issue", reports Tania Ganguli of ESPN.
Watt was his regular world-wrecking self Sunday despite the Dolphins jumping to a huge lead before halftime, picking up two sacks and four quarterback hits. Bill O'Brien didn't mention when Watt suffered the injury, but did state the 26-year-old would be able to play against the Titans. Barring any unforeseen setbacks, Fantasy owners will likely have Watt available this Sunday.

Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) is inactive Sunday against the Dolphins.
Despite putting in a limited practice on Friday, Clowney is good to go at right outside linebacker . After missing Week 6 with his ankle injury, his return to the lineup will be needed against a Dolphins offense coming off a solid performance last week.

Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) was on the practice field Thursday.
Although his status appears to have improved after not practicing Wednesday, he remains questionable for the Week 7 tilt against the Dolphins. When asked Thursday about Clowney, Bill O'Brien sounded less than enthused. "He practiced today," O'Brien said. "He looked OK."
Clowney's pace of recovery is pretty unclear at this point, and Fantasy owners should continue to monitor his status throughout the weekend.

Report: Texans DE J.J. Watt will face Jaguars
Texans defensive end J.J. Watt (illness) will play Sunday against the Jaguars, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Watt was added to the injury report Saturday due to the illness, which is apparently being passed around the Texans' locker room, but it's not serious enough to keep him out Sunday.
The Texans' defense has struggled considerably this season, but Watt remains an elite IDP option, recording four sacks in five games and facing a Jags' offensive line that has allowed 14 sacks in five games.

Clowney sprained his ankle in Week 5 and hasn't been able to practice since, but he believes he is making progress, at least on a daily level. His game-time status against the Jaguars will likely be decided later in the week, so his practice status should be monitored moving forward.
