Stanley was sidelined for the first four weeks of the season while recovering from an ankle surgery that ended his 2021 campaign. The 28-year-old was then forced out with an ankle issue against Carolina in Week 11, leaving him out for Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. Stanley will now have two more practices to increase his activity, otherwise he'll likely remain out against Denver this Sunday.

With Stanley exiting the contest, Patrick Mekari will likely fill in at left tackle while he is out. The former missed significant time this season due to a dislocated and fractured ankle that ended his 2021 campaign early. At this stage it's unclear if he injured the same ankle Sunday.
