The Cardinals waived Fry on Monday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Fry signed a reserve/future contract with the Cardinals following the conclusion of the 2022 campaign, but he finds himself as a free agent heading into the summer. The undrafted kicker out of South Carolina has appeared in three NFL games, each with different teams (Atlanta, Cincinnati and Kansas City), since joining the league in 2019, connecting on five of six field-goal attempts and five of seven extra-point tries.

Cardinals' Elliott Fry: Signs reserve/future contract
The Cardinals signed Fry to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Fry was a free agent for the entire 2022 campaign after being waived by the Jaguars in mid-August. He's played in three career games since 2020, making appearances for Atlanta, Cincinnati and Kansas City, and has gone 5-for-6 on field-goal attempts but just 5-for-7 on PATs during that stretch.

Fry (undisclosed) received a tryout with the Chiefs on Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Fry spent training camp with the Jaguars, ultimately ending up on IR and reaching an injury settlement with the team. Now healthy, Fry was given the opportunity to earn a chance with the Chiefs, as they prepare to possibly be without Harrison Butker (ankle) on Thursday. However, the Chiefs signed Matt Ammendola, who was also present at the tryout, to their practice squad instead.

Elliott Fry: Waived/injured by Jaguars
The Jaguars waived Fry (undisclosed) off injured reserve with an injury settlement Friday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Fry recently reverted to Jacksonville's IR after going unclaimed on waivers. It is unclear what type of injury he is dealing with, but he will now be able to look for a new landing spot once his health is back up to par. The 27-year-old converted five of his six field-goal attempts over the first two seasons of his career.

Fry made a 23-yard field goal and connected on his only extra-point try during Friday's preseason contest against Cleveland. However, he appears to have picked up an injury during the game as well. If the 27-year-old clears waivers, he'll revert back to Jacksonville's injured reserve list.

Jaguars' Elliott Fry: Joins Jacksonville
Fry signed a contract with the Jaguars on Friday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Fry was one of four kickers that Jacksonville worked out, and he evidently outperformed the other three candidates. Now that he's on the Jaguars' training camp roster, Fry will compete with Ryan Santoso for the team's kicking job.

Fry has bounced around between Atlanta, Cincinnati and Kansas City since he entered the league in 2020 and now is trying to earn another opportunity in Denver. With Brandon McManus on the roster, Fry would be hard-pressed to earn anything more than a spot on the practice squad by Week 1, if he gets a chance at all this summer.

Fry spent the majority of the season being cut from, then re-signed to, the Falcons' practice squad. He ultimately ended up with the Bengals on Jan. 4 and was their kicker Week 18 against the Browns, while Evan McPherson was out with a groin injury. Fry was placed on the Bengals' practice squad injured list on Jan. 12 with an undisclosed injury.

Fry handled the Bengals' placekicking duties in Sunday's regular-season finale since Evan McPherson (groin) was unavailable. The 27-year-old didn't see much work in the loss but converted both of his kicks. If McPherson is healthy for Saturday's wild-card matchup against the Raiders, Fry is unlikely to take the field.

Bengals' Elliott Fry: Handling Week 18 kicking duties
Fry will handle kicking duties for the Bengals in Sunday's game against the Browns with Evan McPherson (groin) inactive for the contest, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.
The assignment was expected for Fry, as the Bengals likely wouldn't have promoted him from the practice squad Saturday if they planned on having McPherson available for the regular-season finale. McPherson is expected back for the Bengals' wild-card game, so Fry will revert back to the practice squad following the Week 18 contest. Fry's lone regular-season action in 2021 came with the Chiefs back in Week 16, when he went 3-for-4 on both his field-goal and extra-point attempts while filling in for Harrison Butker, who was out after landing on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
