Chiefs' Derrick Nnadi: Re-signs with Kansas City
The Chiefs re-signed Nnadi (triceps) on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Nnadi has spent all six of his seasons with the Chiefs and is now coming back for a seventh. He appeared in all 17 regular-season games last season but suffered a triceps injury seven snaps into the wild-card win over the Dolphins and missed the remainder of the playoffs. Reliable as anyone, Nnadi has missed just one career regular-season contest.

Chiefs' Derrick Nnadi: Won't return Sunday
Nnadi (triceps) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Ravens.
The 27-year-old was unable to practice all week, and he's now in line to miss his second consecutive game with this triceps issue. Nnadi is one of the Chiefs' best run defenders, and without him, Kansas City's defensive line could struggle to stop a Baltimore rushing attack that's averaging almost 154 rushing yards per game across 18 outings. Expect Neil Farrell and Tershawn Wharton to see increased reps at defensive tackle in Nnadi's stead.

The Chiefs placed Nnadi (triceps) on injured reserve Friday.
Nnadi had already been ruled out for the AFC Championship Game after sustaining a triceps injury during the Chiefs' wild-card win over the Dolphins. Now that he's been placed on IR, the veteran defensive tackle would also miss the Super Bowl if Kansas City were to advance. Both Neil Farrell and Tershawn Wharton could see increased time on the Chiefs' defensive line for the remainder of the team's playoff run.

Nnadi has been sidelined since suffering a triceps injury during Kansas City's wild-card win over the Dolphins. His continued inability to practice will likely leave him closer to doubtful for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Ravens. It'll also leave Tershawn Wharton and Neil Farrell looking at an uptick in opportunities on the field if Nnadi is unable to suit up.

Nnadi (triceps) is out for Sunday night's game against the Bills, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.
Nnadi was injured in the opening quarter of ast weekend's win over the Dolphins, and he's now going to miss the divisional-round tilt. He played over 45 percent of Kansas City's defensive snaps this season while starting all 17 regular-season games. Tershawn Wharton is likely the next man up alongside Chris Jones.

Nnadi (elbow) has been ruled out from re-entering Saturday's playoff game against Miami.
Nnadi hurt his left elbow in the first quarter, and the issue is serious enough to keep him from returning to the wild-card matchup. Prior to being ruled out, he had posted one assisted tackle. With Nnadi unable to continue, Mike Pennel is likely to see more work on defense.

Chiefs' Derrick Nnadi: Will stick with Kansas City
Kansas City agreed to re-sign Nnadi on Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Nnadi started all 20 games for the Super Bowl champions last year and will return for a sixth season in Kansas City. The 2018 third-round pick has missed just one regular-season game across his first five NFL campaigns, totaling 193 tackles, four sacks and one forced fumble.
