Raiders' Rock Ya-Sin: Lands on injured reserve
The Raiders placed Ya-Sin (knee) on injured reserve Thursday.
Despite returning to practice as a limited participant Wednesday, Ya-Sin was surprisingly placed on injured reserve Thursday following his three-game absence due to a knee issue. He'll now miss the rest of the regular season, while Sam Webb, Nate Hobbs and Sidney Jones figure to serve as Las Vegas' top cornerbacks for the time being.

Raiders' Rock Ya-Sin: Returns to practice Wednesday
Ya-Sin (knee) was a limited participant in Las Vegas' practice session Wednesday, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports.
Ya-Sin hasn't been able to play since hurting his knee in the fourth quarter against the Chargers in Week 13. He didn't practice at all in Week 14 through 16, so his ability to log a limited session in Las Vegas' first practice of Week 17 is an encouraging sign ahead of Sunday's game against San Francisco. Still, Ya-Sin may need to progress to a full practice before the end of the week in order to take the field against the 49ers.

Raiders' Rock Ya-Sin: Will sit out again Week 16
Ya-Sin (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's matchup in Pittsburgh, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Ya-Sin injured his knee against the Chargers in Week 13 and hasn't played since. Tyler Hall played 65 percent of the Raiders' defensive snaps against New England on Sunday and could be in line for an expanded workload again Week 16 versus the Steelers.

Ya-Sin (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Rams, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Ya-Sin departed Sunday's contest versus the Chargers with an apparent knee injury and was ultimately unable to practice in any capacity prior to Thursday's matchup against the Rams. Ya-Sin suffered a knee injury in Week 3 versus the Titans, and he ultimately missed Sunday's 32-23 win over the Broncos because of it. Although the 26-year-old was limited throughout Thursday's practice, his ability to return as a full participant in Friday's session suggests his knee issue is no longer a concern. Ya-Sin is in line to start at cornerback opposite of Nate Hobbs on Monday night against a dangerous Chiefs offense.
