  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Posts 11 catches in second season

Stoll finished the regular season with 11 catches for 123 yards and zero touchdowns. Stoll's primary value comes as a blocker, which leaves him with little fantasy appeal. He got to spend five games as the team's starting tight end while Dallas Goedert was out with a shoulder injury, but Stoll merely averaged 1.4 catches in those contests. In games in which Goedert was active, Stoll averaged just 0.3 catches.

  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Headed for No. 2 tight end role

Stoll is expected to serve as the Eagles' No. 2 tight end in Saturday's game at Dallas after Philadelphia reinstated Dallas Goedert (shoulder) from injured reserve Tuesday, ESPN.com reports. While Goedert was sidelined for the past five games, Stoll played north of 70 percent of the offense snaps each time out, but he contributed just seven receptions for 74 yards on seven targets over that stretch. Goedert should start in his return to action and play the majority of the snaps at tight end, though Stoll should still share the field occasionally with him and operate mostly as a blocker.

  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Catches lone target

Stoll caught one pass for six yards in Sunday's 25-20 win against the Bears. Stoll remains a minimal part of the Eagles' game plan even in the absence of Dallas Goedert (shoulder). He was only targeted once all day, as top wideouts A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith vacuumed up a combined 24 targets. Goedert appears to be closing in on a return, which will further shrink Stoll's already negligible fantasy value.

  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Pulls in pair of passes

Stoll caught two passes for 20 yards in Sunday's blowout win over the Giants. The Eagles looked Stoll's way just once in the first two games they were without Dallas Goedert (shoulder), but he's now pulled in five receptions on five targets across the last two contests. Fellow tight end Grant Calcaterra also caught a pair of passes and was targeted four times in Sunday's game, however, so Stoll remains far down the list of Jalen Hurts' preferred targets.

  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Untargeted in 40-point outburst

Stoll was not targeted in Sunday's 40-33 win over the Packers. When a team goes off for 40 points, one would expect the starting tight end to at least do something, but that wasn't the case for Stoll. He's always been more of a blocker than a playmaker, and while he's been thrust into a much larger snap count in the absence of Dallas Goedert (shoulder), that hasn't resulted in a larger share of the offense. Stoll now is averaging just half a target per game in the two weeks Goedert has been out.

  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Starts but catches just one pass

Stoll was the Eagles' primary tight end Sunday against the Colts in the absence of Dallas Goedert (shoulder), but he caught just one pass for seven yards. Stoll was unquestionably the tight end the Eagles turned to in Goedert's absence, seeing the field for 55 offensive snaps compared to a combined 28 for Grant Calcaterra and Tyree Jackson. Despite the playing time, Stoll doesn't have anything close to Goedert's skillset as an offensive weapon, and nothing in his usage in the Week 11 win suggests that he'll be a particularly interesting fantasy fill-in until Goedert returns.

  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Should help fill in for Goedert

Stoll is expected to benefit from an uptick in snaps with top tight end Dallas Goedert potentially sidelined for multiple weeks after suffering a shoulder injury in Monday's loss to the Commanders, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports. Stoll has already played 40 percent of the Eagles' snaps on offense this season, but he's been deployed almost exclusively as a blocker and produced an underwhelming 4-49-0 receiving line on seven targets through nine games. Though Goedert's absence should open up more playing time, the Eagles are unlikely to turn to the 24-year-old Stoll to handle a high-volume pass-catching role. Instead, look for Goedert's 5.9 targets per game to get dispersed among a slew of players. Rookie Grant Calcaterra and Tyree Jackson (knee) -- who is on the PUP list but could be activated for Week 11 -- are also candidates to take on more snaps at tight end.

  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Full participant Friday

Stoll (ankle) was a full participant during Friday's practice. Stoll was limited Thursday due to an ankle issue, but it appears he'll be good to go for Monday's contest against the Vikings. The second-year tight end played 40 total snaps (25 offensive) during the season opener, but he didn't see a target.

  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Moves back to active roster

Stoll was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday. Stoll was one of several Eagles to miss Week 18 against the Cowboys, a list that included No. 1 tight end Dallas Goedert. Both players returned from the COVID list Monday. Stoll will look to resume his role as No. 2 on the tight end positional depth chart Sunday against the Buccaneers.

  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Not targeted in loss

Stoll failed to draw a target in Sunday's 33-23 loss the the Raiders. Operating as the No. 2 tight end behind Dallas Goedert, Stoll played 19 percent of the team's offensive snaps. Stoll will likely remain next in line behind Goedert, but he won't see nearly as sizable of a role as Zach Ertz handled prior to being dealt to Arizona.

  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Likely to be No. 2 TE in Week 6

Stoll is expected to serve as the Eagles' No. 2 tight end for Thursday's game against the Buccaneers with Dallas Goedert (illness) unlikely to be reinstated from the reserve/COVID-19 list prior to the contest, Chris Franklin of The Newark Star-Ledger reports. While Philadelphia isn't closing the door on Goedert playing Thursday, since he tested positive for the virus Monday, he'll face an uphill battle to clear all COVID-19-related protocols prior to the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff. With Goedert and Zach Ertz having played in each of the Eagles' first five games, opportunities have been scarce for Stoll, an undrafted rookie out of Nebraska. Though he's been active for each of those five contests, Stoll has logged only 33 offensive snaps in total and has yet to draw a target. Stoll doesn't project to see a major workload if Goedert is in fact out, as the Eagles could opt for more three-receiver sets featuring Ertz as the sole tight end.

  • Eagles' Jack Stoll: Joins forces with Eagles

The Eagles signed Stoll as an undrafted free agent Friday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports. Stoll will have an uphill road to sticking on the Eagles' roster. The former Nebraska standout's best collegiate season came as a sophomore in 2020, when he had 21 receptions for 245 yards and three touchdowns. Philadelphia's tight end room is currently too crowded for Stoll to earn many depth reps, but that could change if Zach Ertz ends up being moved.
