Seahawks' Noah Fant: Career-low receiving yards
Fant posted 50 catches (63 targets) for 486 yards and four touchdowns through 17 games during the 2022 season.
While Fant tied his career high of four touchdowns, this was his worst season in terms of receiving yards. The fourth-year tight end split snaps with Will Dissly for the first 15 games, but when Dissly went down with a knee injury, Fant didn't take over the No. 1 job. Instead, Colby Parkinson leapfrogged Fant and operated as the clear top tight end. That setup is concerning for Fant heading into 2023, as both Dissly and Parkinson are under contract for at least one more year.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Set to play Saturday
Fant (knee) doesn't have a designation for Saturday's wild-card contest at San Francisco, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Fant's practice limitations stem back to Week 16 prep as he tends to a knee injury, which didn't allow him to participate in Tuesday's walkthrough. But he managed limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday and now is ready to go for the first round of the postseason. While playing through his current health concern, Fant has recorded a cumulative 8-72-1 line on 10 targets over the last three games while operating behind fellow tight end Colby Parkinson.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Returns to limited practice
Fant (knee) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Fant has had practice limitations since Week 16 prep due to a knee issue, which kept him out of Tuesday's walk-through session entirely. His return to drills one day later bodes well for his chances of suiting up in Saturday's wild-card contest at San Francisco. Thursday's injury report may clear up Fant's status, and if it does, he'll be destined to team with Colby Parkinson as one of the Seahawks' top two tight ends this weekend.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Sits out practice
Fant (knee) was listed as a non-participant at Tuesday's walk-through practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Due to a lingering knee injury, Fant has sat out the first practice of the week ahead of each of the Seahawks' last three games, but he's proceeded to suit up for each contest while producing a collective 8-72-1 receiving line on 10 targets. Assuming he didn't suffer any sort of major setback during Sunday's 19-16 overtime win over the Rams, he should be good to go for this Saturday's wild-card game in San Francisco. If that's the case, Fant would once again be in line to split snaps at tight end with Colby Parkinson.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Catches four short passes
Fant caught all four of his targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 19-16 overtime win versus the Rams.
Fant operated as the No. 2 tight end behind Colby Parkinson for a second straight week. He still managed to play 45 offensive snaps (64 percent) and ranked third on the team in targets, but Fant didn't gain more than eight yards on any of his catches. He has the ability to stretch the field with his speed. However, Fant's current usage is concerning for fantasy purposes as the Seahawks head to the playoffs.
