McPhearson (Achilles) reverted to injured reserve Sunday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
McPhearson cleared waivers and reverted to injured reserve after initially being let go Saturday. The 25-year-old tore his Achilles during Thursday's preseason game against the Browns and will now spend the season focusing on getting healthy for the 2024 campaign.

McPhearson (Achilles) was waived with an injury designation by the Eagles on Saturday, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.
McPhearson suffered a torn Achilles during Thursday's exhibition game against the Browns. He is expected to clear waivers and revert to Philadelphia's injured reserve. From there, McPhearson will focus on his recovery and returning for the 2024 campaign. The 2021 fourth-round pick played in all 17 regular-season games for the Eagles last season, primarily as a special teams contributor.

Eagles' Zech McPhearson: Suffers torn Achilles
McPhearson suffered a season-ending right Achilles tear during Thursday's preseason game against the Browns, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
McPhearson suited up for all 17 regular-season games with Philadelphia last year, playing primarily on special teams. The 2021 fourth-round pick will now have to turn his focus toward getting healthy in time for the 2024 campaign. The Eagles will undoubtedly place him on IR in the near future.

Eagles' Zech McPhearson: Carted off field Thursday
McPhearson suffered an ankle injury during Thursday's exhibition game against Cleveland and has been ruled out after being carted off the field.
McPhearson attempted to get up after the play on which he was injured but was unable to do so, and he was then helped off the field by trainers before being carted to the locker room. The 25-year-old played in all 17 games for the Eagles last season, primarily on special teams, and is vying for a backup role in the team's secondary this year. He tallied six tackles (one solo) and a pass defense Thursday before his exit.
