Patriots' Mike Onwenu: Knocks some rust off
Onwenu played 46 of a total possible 74 snaps in Sunday's 24-17 loss versus Miami, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.
Onwenu opened New England's training camp on the PUP list and subsequently had to sit out Week 1, but he said it felt good to play again in Week 2 and now figures to work his way back to a full-time role in the coming weeks. He'll most likely start at right guard in Week 3 at the Jets.

Onwenu (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
The 25-year-old is still recovering from offseason ankle surgery, as he missed the Patriots' Week 1 defeat against Philadelphia. New England's backup right guard, Sidy Sow (conscussion), who started during last week's contest, is also listed as questionable going into Sunday. Onwenu was a limited participant all week during practice, and if he can't go this Sunday, either Sow or Jake Andrews will likely start for the Patriots.

Onwenu (ankle) is inactive Sunday against the Eagles, Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston reports.
Onwenu has been dealing with the injury for much of camp, including starting out on the active/PUP list. The Michigan product is still not fully recovered, which will leave him sidelined against Philadelphia. Sidy Sow and Jake Andrews are both candidates to get the start at right guard.

Onwenu (ankle) was activated from the active/PUP list and returned to practice Wednesday, Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston reports.
Onwenu was sidelined to start training camp while working his way back from offseason ankle surgery, but it appears he's getting close to full strength with the regular-season opener just over two weeks away. When he's 100 percent, Onwenu figures to be the Patriots' starting right guard.

Onwenu (ankle) will begin training camp on the Patriots' active/PUP list, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Onwenu underwent offseason ankle surgery and subsequently missed all spring on-field work. He will be eligible to return to practice and play at any point during the preseason once his health allows it. He currently projects to start at right guard this season.
