Falcons' A.J. Terrell: Receives fifth-year option
Atlanta picked up the fifth-year option on Terrell's rookie contract Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Terrell is now locked into Atlanta's secondary through the 2024 campaign. The 2020 first-round pick has been the Falcons' top cornerback since joining the team, posting 202 tackles, 32 pass defenses, four interceptions, four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery over his first three NFL campaigns.

Falcons' A.J. Terrell: Will return to action in Week 11
Terrell (hamstring) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Bears, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Terrell will return to action Sunday after missing Atlanta's previous three games due to a hamstring issue. The 2020 first-round pick should reclaim his usual starting spot in the Falcons secondary. Across seven appearances, Terrell has totaled 29 tackles, five pass defenses and one fumble recovery.

Falcons' A.J. Terrell: Questionable for Week 11
Terrell (hamstring) is considered questionable to play Sunday versus the Bears, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official website reports.
Terrell returned to practice this week, opening the door for his potential return to the field after missing the last three games with a hamstring injury. He appears to have a realistic shot at being active for Week 11, but his status is worth monitoring as Sunday approaches. Rashad Fenton and Isaiah Oliver would be set for increased roles once again versus Chicago if Terrell can't go.
