Cardinals' Kaden Davis: Inks reserve/future deal with AZ
The Cardinals signed Davis to a reserve/future contract Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Davis originally signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in May of 2022 and spent most of the past season on Arizona's practice squad. He was elevated for one game (in Week 16) but didn't end up taking the field. With the reserve/future deal, Davis will have an opportunity to compete for a roster spot during training camp this summer.

Davis reverted to the Cardinals' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Davis was promoted to Arizona's active roster ahead of Week 16, but he ultimately failed to see the field. It was his first elevation of the season, and if Marquise Brown (heel) and Greg Dortch (shoulder) are forced to sit in Week 17, Davis could return to the active roster. However, more clarity on the team's receiver health will come as the week progresses.

The Cardinals elevated Davis to their active roster Saturday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
The Northwest Missouri State product was elevated along with Dan Chisena to ensure depth at wide receiver ahead of Sunday's affair, as Arizona could be without both Marquise Brown (heel, already ruled out) and Greg Dortch (shoulder, questionable). Davis could make his NFL debut on Christmas Eve after recording 714 yards and 10 touchdowns in his final collegiate season.

Davis agreed to a contract with the Cardinals on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Davis spent time on Denver's practice squad a season ago before joining the USFL's Michigan Panthers this spring. After impressing during his time in the spring league, he'll now get the opportunity to compete for a depth role within an Arizona receiving corps headlined by Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore.

After a brief stint with the organization to start November, Davis re-signed with Denver's practice squad at the beginning of December and has remained there since. However, he never saw any elevations and has been let go following the regular season. The undrafted wideout out of Northwest Missouri State has yet to make his NFL debut.

Davis previously signed to Denver's practice squad back in early November, but he was eventually let go within a matter of weeks after failing to receive an elevation to the team's active roster. The Broncos chose to bring back the 24-year-old to their practice squad Tuesday, where he'll now serve as added wide receiver depth.

Davis spent training camp with the Broncos after going undrafted out of Northwest Missouri State. After not making the 53-man roster, or initially getting a practice squad deal, he did eventually earn one Nov. 8. However, he'll now need to pursue a new opportunity elsewhere.

Davis signed with the Broncos as an UDFA this offseason and was waived shortly after, but he now has another chance to make an impression on Denver's coaches. Barring a rash of injuries, though, he's probably still a long way away from his NFL debut.

Davis signed with Denver as an undrafted free agent this offseason but was unable to make the team's roster ahead of the 2022 campaign. The Northwest Missouri State product made some impressive plays in camp and was routinely the first player out at practice during training camp. Davis will now hope that his strong work ethic will help him to find a spot on another team's roster before for season begins.
