Bengals' Alex Cappa: Participating in OTAs
Cappa (ankle), who missed all of Cincinnati's 2022 playoff run, was spotted practicing during the team's OTAs, Ryan Meyer of the Bengals' official site reports.
It looks like Cappa had enough time to recover from his ankle injury during the offseason, as he's been back on the field for OTAs. The 2018 third-round pick has been a staple at guard since entering the NFL for the Buccaneers and Bengals, appearing in 68 games during that five year span. Barring any setbacks, expect the veteran guard to continue holding down the Bengals' offensive line this upcoming year.

Bengals' Alex Cappa: Could've returned for Super Bowl
Cappa (ankle) said he believes that he would've been available for the Super Bowl had the Bengals defeated the Chiefs on Sunday, Andrew Gillis of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Cappa ultimately didn't suit up for any of Cincinnati's three playoff games in 2023 due to the ankle injury he sustained back in Week 18. Going off of the 310-pounder's recent comments, it sounds like he'll return to full health by the start of the Bengals' offseason program.

Bengals' Alex Cappa: Deemed unavailable Sunday
Cappa (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Chiefs, per the team's official site.
Cappa has yet to return to the practice field in any capacity since he suffered an ankle injury back in Week 18 versus the Ravens, and he'll ultimately remain sidelined this weekend as a result. Look for Max Scharping to draw another start at right guard against Kansas City.

Bengals' Alex Cappa: Still not practicing
Cappa (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Andrew Gillis of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Cappa hasn't played in either of the Bengals' first two playoff games due to an ankle injury he suffered Week 18. He's not yet trending in the right direction as Sunday's AFC Championship Game against Kansas City approaches, but he'll have two more chances to practice before the Bengals need to make a decision on his status for the game. If Cappa is sidelined again, Max Scharping will likely serve as Cincinnati's starting right guard.

Bengals' Alex Cappa: Unavailable for divisional game
Cappa (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's AFC divisional-round matchup against the Bills, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
After failing to practice in both of Wednesday's and Thursday's sessions due to an ankle issue, it's since been determined that Cappa won't be able to give it a go this weekend versus Buffalo. Max Scharping is the frontrunner to command starting right-guard duties in the divisional round.
