  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Makes two grabs

Marshall caught two of three targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 10-7 win over the Saints. Marshall actually led the Panthers in all major receiving categories, evidencing their struggles in the passing game. After being frozen out to begin his second campaign, the former second-round pick finished with 28 catches on 47 targets for 490 yards and one touchdown in 14 appearances. That production marked improvement from his rookie year, all the while dealing with a rotating cast of quarterbacks. Marshall will hope to retain his starting role behind DJ Moore in 2023, but as Carolina likely strives to increase its offensive upside, it wouldn't be surprising if Marshall's spot comes under competition prior to next season.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Quiet in defeat

Marshall caught two of three targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 30-24 loss to the Buccaneers. Marshall also coughed the ball up twice but didn't lose either fumble. The wideout had topped 50 yards in consecutive contests entering Sunday, so he'll strive to bounce back and finish the season strong Week 18 versus his home-state Saints.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Makes two grabs

Marshall caught two of three targets for 55 yards in Week 16's 37-23 win over the Lions. Marshall again finished second on the Panthers in receiving, hauling in gains of 36 and 19 yards. Although he lacks volume in the passing game, Marshall's average of 18.8 yards per catch offers value through big plays.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Catches all looks

Marshall caught all three of his targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Steelers. Marshall's total included a 40-yard gain during the first quarter. In the end, only top wideout DJ Moore had more receptions and targets than Marshall. After hardly being used during the start of the season, last year's second-rounder has now topped 50 yards four times in his last seven outings.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Catches only look

Marshall caught his only target for 18 yards in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Seahawks. Marshall has now made just one reception in back-to-back games. Although fellow starting wideout DJ Moore posted a goose egg Sunday, Marshall's lack of production with Sam Darnold under center should temper his already lukewarm stock in Week 15 versus the Steelers.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Quiet in win

Marshall caught one of three targets for eight yards in Sunday's 23-10 win over the Broncos. Marshall's three targets were the second most of any Panthers pass catcher behind only DJ Moore, who finished with four catches on six targets for 103 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Sam Darnold made his first start of the season Sunday, and while Carolina's receivers had to deal with yet another in-season quarterback change, Moore was the biggest benefactor. Marshall just couldn't get anything going on a day when Darnold threw for only 164 yards. The second-year wideout will look to build chemistry with his signal caller as the team enters its bye week. The Panthers visit the Seahawks in Week 14, and Marshall will look to take a step forward and improve upon his underwhelming Week 12 performance.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Available Sunday, as expected

Marshall (shoulder) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Broncos. The 22-year-old was considered questionable for Sunday's contest, but it's no surprise he'll be suiting up after he practiced Friday with no limitations. Marshall has 13 receptions for 290 yards and one touchdown in five games since Robbie Anderson was traded to the Cardinals, though he'll have to contend with another quarterback change with Sam Darnold taking over under center versus Denver.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Listed as questionable, should play

Marshall (shoulder) was a full practice participant Friday but is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos. While the full participation makes Marshall likely to play, cautious fantasy managers will want to make sure he's not named on the inactive list, which will be released 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. The 2021 second-round pick has been one of the few bright spots for Carolina of late, averaging 2.6 catches for 58.0 yards on 5.2 targets in five games since Robbie Anderson was traded to Arizona. Much of Marshall's yardage has come from jump balls, but it's possible he shows better short- and intermediate-area chemistry with Sam Darnold, who is taking over as the starting quarterback this Sunday.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Limited Thursday

Marshall (shoulder) was listed as limited on Thursday's practice report, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports. For the second day in a row, Marshall received such a listing, giving him just one more chance to get back to all activity before Carolina potentially gives him a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Broncos. If he's available this weekend, he'll be working with his third quarterback in as many games, with interim coach Steve Wilks going with Sam Darnold under center.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Team-high yardage total

Marshall secured three of six targets for 76 yards in the Panthers' 13-3 loss to the Ravens on Sunday. Marshall made a splash play through the air for the second straight game after also recording a 43-yard grab in the Week 10 win over the Falcons. The second-year receiver has over 70 receiving yards in two of his last three games and multiple catches in four of his last five, commendable accomplishments when considering the state of the Panthers' quarterback situation.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Makes splash on only reception

Marshall brought in one of two targets for 43 yards in the Panthers' 25-15 win over the Falcons on Thursday night. Marshall led the Panthers in receiving yards despite making just one catch, which came on a late third-quarter drive that culminated in a 12-yard touchdown run for D'Onta Foreman. The second-year wideout's increased role over the last four games is encouraging, as he's posted 214 receiving yards and a touchdown on 10 catches in that span. Marshall's next opportunity to continue strengthening his grip on the No. 2 receiver role will come against the Ravens in a Week 11 road matchup a week from Sunday.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall Jr.: Sneaky Sleeper (Lineup Decisions)

I'm rolling the dice for a second-straight game on Marshall as a flex play, albeit not with a high ceiling. His end-zone targets are a huge selling point, plus he's a lock to never see double coverage. The list of names I'd sit for Marshall isn't jaw-dropping -- guys like Allen Robinson, Michael Gallup and Robert Tonyan -- but Marshall is widely available and not bad if you're in a pinch.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall Jr.: Week 10 Adds (WR Preview)

Terrace Marshall has earned 15 targets in two games since the Panthers traded away Robbie Anderson and Christian McCaffrey. He's averaged 13.5 PPR Fantasy points in those two games and faces a Falcons defense that has allowed the most FPPG to opposing wide receivers this season.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall Jr.: Week 10 Waiver Priority List

Marshall scored in Week 9 at Cincinnati and now has consecutive games with at least 12 PPR points. His playing time has increased with Robbie Anderson gone, and Marshall has 15 targets in his past two outings against the Falcons and Bengals for seven catches, 140 yards and a touchdown. He's playing the Falcons again on Thursday, and Marshall could be a low-end No. 3 receiver in all leagues. He's worth adding for 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: First career touchdown

Marshall recorded three receptions on six targets for 53 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 42-21 loss to the Bengals. Marshall -- along with the entire Panthers' offense -- was stymied in the first half of Sunday's blowout loss. However, he showed some rapport with Baker Mayfield and also benefitted from soft coverage to tally his first career touchdown on a 21-yard catch midway through the fourth quarter. While Sunday's stat line was somewhat misleading, Marshall does have seven receptions for 140 yards on 15 targets combined across his last two games.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall Jr.: Sneaky Sleeper (Lineup Decisions)

Marshall warrants mild consideration as a bye-week replacement in PPR leagues and as a DFS dart throw. He's making progress in his second season and definitely getting the right kind of attention from his quarterback. A favorable matchup shouldn't hurt. If you're stuck, I like his upside more than other bye-week guys like Alec Pierce, Julio Jones or Josh Reynolds.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall Jr.: Week 9 Waiver Priority List

Marshall had a career-high nine targets in Week 8 at Atlanta and finished with four catches for 87 yards. We'll see if he continues to make plays for the Panthers, who need him after Robbie Anderson was traded to Arizona. In deeper leagues, add Marshall to see what happens prior to Week 9 at Cincinnati. He's worth 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Two catches in Week 7 win

Marshall secured two of three targets for 31 yards in the Panthers' 21-3 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. With the Panthers playing their first game without both Christian McCaffrey and Robbie Anderson, Marshall stepped up with the second-highest receiving yardage total on the day behind DJ Moore. The second-year wideout was one of four pass catchers to record a gain of at least 20 yards through the air, and it's possible Marshall develops into a reliable No. 2 option alongside Moore if he can continue to outperform Laviska Shenault and Shi Smith.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Could help replace Robbie Anderson

Interim head coach Steve Wilks said Marshall and Laviska Shenault (hamstring) both looked good at Wednesday's practice, though Wilks declined to name either receiver as a replacement in the starting lineup for Robbie Anderson, Joe Person of The Athletic reports. Anderson caught 13 of 27 targets for 206 yards and a touchdown in six games before the Panthers traded him to Arizona on Monday. The touchdown and more than one-third of his yardage came on a broken coverage Week 1, with that and one long catch-and-run by Shenault in Week 3 representing a large chunk of the team's wideout production this season. It's hard to imagine Marshall or Shenault making a serious dent in an offense where No. 1 wideout DJ Moore is averaging only 34.0 yards per game, but the pair of recent second-round picks will at least have a chance at more playing time. Shi Smith has been the team's No. 3 receiver so far, and with 105 yards on the season, his spot could come into question soon as well.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Just one look

Marshall didn't catch his only target in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Rams. Marshall played 45 percent of Carolina's offensive snaps but failed to find the stat sheet. Although he's hardly featured to begin his second season, the 2021 second-round pick could see his opportunities increase following Monday's trade of fellow wideout Robbie Anderson. With P.J. Walker (neck) being injured Sunday, however, it's unclear who will be under center for Week 7's game versus the Buccaneers.
