  • Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Has four receptions in win

Nailor reeled in four of five targets for 62 yards during Sunday's 29-13 win versus the Bears. Nailor got playing time in the second half after starters were rested ahead of the playoffs. Nailor has seven receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown in his last two games. Although almost all his playing time was in garbage time, he still showed enough to put him in a good spot to compete for a larger role in 2023.

  • Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Catches long TD in garbage time

Nailor had three receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss at Green Bay. Nailor played nine snaps on offense, but almost all of them came late in the game when the Vikings were resting their starters amid a blowout loss (including his 47-yard touchdown), so don't read too much into his performance. However, he could become a focus of the passing game Week 18 if the Vikings bench their starters early in the game or rest them completely ahead of the playoffs.

  • Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Practices in full

Nailor (hamstring) was listed as a full participant on the Vikings' injury report Wednesday. Nailor was inactive during Sunday's win over the Bears after being limited with a hamstring injury in practice Thursday and Friday. However, the rookie wideout appears to be healthy again after participating in full during the first practice of Week 6. Nailor recorded once reception on his lone offensive snap of the season in Week 4, and he should continue to primarily play on special teams, barring any injuries to Minnesota's wide receiver corps.

  • Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Inactive against Chicago

Nailor (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Bears. Nailor popped up on the injury report list Thursday as a limited participant because of a hamstring injury. With the rookie sidelined, Dan Chisena, who was elevated from the practice squad, will likely take over Nailor's depth receiver role behind Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen, K.J. Osborn and Jalen Reagor.

  • Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Gets first NFL reception

Nailor had one reception for 13 yards on a fake punt in Sunday's win over New Orleans in London. Nailor hasn't had a snap on offense this season, as his role is mostly limited to special teams (where he's worked as the gunner on punt coverage).

  • Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Limited to special teams

Nailor played all 13 snaps on special teams in Sunday's win over Green Bay. Nailor appears to have recovered from a concussion suffered during Minnesota's final preseason game Aug. 27, but he'll likely have a very limited role on offense barring injuries to starters. He could eventually work his way into the return game on kickoff or punt returns.

  • Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Out with concussion

Nailor will not return to the game after suffering a concussion Saturday versus the Broncos, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Nailor will now enter concussion protocols and can be considered questionable ahead of the Vikings' season opener versus the Packers on Sept. 11. The wide receiver was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft and will likely be most commonly utilized on special teams when healthy.

  • Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Going to Minnesota

The Vikings selected Nailor in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 191st overall. Nailor (5-foot-11, 186 pounds) is an NFL long shot as a sixth-round pick, but he has some definite abilities and should stick around the NFL for a while. His main issue is that he's skinny and fragile, which limits the utility of his otherwise solid athleticism (4.5-second 40, 38-inch vertical, 128-inch broad jump), but Nailor was a good player on a Michigan State offense with at least one other NFL wide receiver (Jayden Reed). Nailor will likely compete with the likes of Ihmir Smith-Marsette to push K.J. Osborn at the WR3 spot.
