Titans' Roger McCreary: Another strong season
McCreary recorded 86 total tackles (62 solo), two sacks, six passes defensed, one interception and one forced fumble across 15 games with the Titans in 2023.
McCreary missed a pair of games in the middle of the season due to a hamstring injury, but he otherwise turned in a solid sophomore season. He set a new career-high in tackles and was consistent in coverage, a rare bright spot in Tennessee's secondary. McCreary will be entering his third NFL season in 2024 and should continue to be a key to the Titans' defense once again.

Titans' Roger McCreary: Another seven-stop performance
McCreary logged seven total tackles (six solo), including two tackles for loss in Sunday's 26-3 loss to the Texans.
McCreary has now posted four straight seven-tackle outings, bringing his season total up to 77 stops. The second-year cornerback has appeared in 14 games for the Titans this season and he ranks top five on his team in total tackles, pass deflections and interceptions. Expect McCreary and Tennessee's defense to try and end its season on a positive note against the Jaguars in Week 18.

Titans' Roger McCreary: Taken off injury report
McCreary (hamstring) did not appear on Tennessee's injury report Wednesday, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.
McCreary has missed the team's past two games due to a hamstring injury but was able to return to practice Wednesday. The 2022 second-round pick is now on track to play in Sunday's matchup versus the Buccaneers.

McCreary filled in for Kristian Fulton (hamstring) in the Titans' Week 2 win over the Chargers and saw the field as the slot cornerback against the Browns on Sunday. He finished second in total tackles behind Amani Hooker in a game where the secondary struggled to stop Deshaun Watson and Amari Cooper in the passing game. Titans' Roger McCreary: Inconsistent rookie season
McCreary recorded 84 tackles, eight passes defended and one interception across 17 games in 2022.
McCreary was selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft and was immediately a starting cornerback for the Titans. He closed the season well by racking up four passes defended across his last four games, but he also gave up seven touchdowns on the campaign. McCreary will look to become more consistent in his second year, but he should continue to have a significant role in the Tennessee secondary.
