  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Four catches in divisional round

Reed recorded four receptions on four targets for 35 yards in Saturday's 24-21 loss to the 49ers. He added one rush for nine yards. The Packers had all of their top pass-catching options available, so targets were spread widely. That limited Reed's volume, and he was also primarily limited to opportunity in the short areas of the field, with the exception being a 29-yard catch deep down the right sideline early in the second quarter. After ending the regular season as the team's most productive pass catcher, Reed was overshadowed by Romeo Doubs in the postseason and was shut out from the stat sheet in the wild-card round. Nevertheless, it was a promising rookie season for Reed overall -- he found the end zone 10 times in 16 regular-season games -- but target volume will remain an issue in 2024 due to the number of young receivers on the roster.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Ready for Saturday

Reed (chest) doesn't have an injury designation for Saturday's divisional-round contest in San Francisco, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Reed has tended to a chest injury most weeks since Week 12, but he's sat out only one time in the last eight games. In seven appearances during that stretch, he hauled in 32 of 46 targets for 330 yards, had six carries for 54 yards and scored five total touchdowns. With his status cleared ahead of the weekend, Green Bay's receiving corps will be intact Saturday after Christian Watson (hamstring) also avoided a game-day designation on the team's final injury report.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Limited in practice

Reed (chest) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's walk-through practice. Reed was also listed as limited on Tuesday's estimated practice report, so the wideout will have one more chance to upgrade to full participation ahead of Saturday's divisional-round playoff game against the 49ers. In Green Bay's 48-32 wild-card win over the Cowboys this past Sunday, Reed logged 26 of 56 snaps on offense and was held without a catch on three targets.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: First 100-yard game

Reed recorded four receptions on four targets for 112 yards in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Bears. Reed entered the game having at least eight targets in three straight games, so he took a step back from a volume perspective. However, he used lengthy catches of 59 and 32 yards to post the first 100-yard game of his career despite the limited opportunity. Reed entered the contest dealing with a chest injury, but assuming he's able to suit up in a wild-card round matchup against the Cowboys, he's a good bet to lead the receiving corps once again. He concludes his first regular season with 793 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 64 catches.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Playing in Week 18

Reed (chest) is listed as active Sunday against the Bears, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports. Since showing up on the Packers' Week 12 practice report with a chest injury, Reed also has dealt with ankle, toe and rib issues. During the ensuing six-game stretch, he sat out Week 16 due to the toe concern but still posted 28 catches (on 39 targets) for 218 yards and four touchdowns and turned six carries into 54 yards and one more score in the other five contests. The Packers are looking to hold on to the No. 7 seed in the NFC, and while Reed and Dontayvion Wicks (chest) are giving it a go Week 18, fellow wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) remains sidelined.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Sleeper WRs

Christian Watson (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (chest) seem unlikely to play in Week 17 at Minnesota after both didn't practice all week. Watson is listed as doubtful and Wicks is questionable, but Reed is full go after missing Week 16 at Carolina with a toe injury. I like Reed as a high-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues at Minnesota in Week 17. Prior to missing Week 16, Reed had scored at least 15 PPR points in five of his past six games. He had three receiving touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns over that span, and he was being used as Green Bay's version of Deebo Samuel. That should remain the case at the Vikings, who are No. 8 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. At least one receiver has scored at least 12.3 PPR points against Minnesota in each of the past six games, with five receivers scoring at least 16.6 PPR points over that span. Romeo Doubs can also be considered a No. 3 Fantasy receiver this week, and he caught four passes for 79 yards and a touchdown on five targets against the Panthers last week when everyone was injured.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Questionable for Week 18

Reed (chest) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Reed was listed with a chest injury for much of December but missed a game Week 16 with a toe issue. He returned for Week 17 and caught six passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns before halftime but then left in the second quarter (and didn't return) with a chest/rib injury. The Packers listed Reed as a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday, and with a playoff spot on the line it won't be surprising if he suits up even if that means playing through pain. The Packers have a reputation for being cautious with injuries, but this might be an exception given that it's not a lower-body issue and the team has so much on the line. Reed enters the weekend with a chance to suit up and avoid the inactive list ahead of a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Fellow wide receivers Christian Watson (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (chest) also are listed as questionable, though the latter's full practice participation earlier this week suggests he may not be truly questionable but rather on track to return after missing Week 17.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Limited to begin Week 18 prep

Reed (chest) was a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough. Reed made an early exit from this past Sunday's win at Minnesota due to a chest injury, but not before putting up six catches (on eight targets) for 89 yards and two touchdowns. Following the game, he had X-rays in his ribs, which returned negative. Reed confirmed as much Wednesday, telling Matt Schneidman of The Athletic that he feels "pretty good." Still, the overly cautious Packers likely will continue to place practice restrictions on Reed as the week goes on with an aim toward having him as a healthy as possible for Sunday's game against the Bears.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: X-rays return negative

Reed had X-rays on his ribs return negative, but he'll undergo further testing Monday and remains "pretty sore," Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Reed enjoyed the best performance of his career in Sunday's victory versus Minnesota, catching six of eight targets for 89 yards and two touchdowns. All of that production came in the first half, as a chest injury kept him from returning to action after halftime. The results of additional tests as well as Reed's practice activity during Week 18 prep are worth monitoring, as he appears to be in some danger of missing Sunday's key clash against Chicago.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Undergoes imaging on chest

Reed underwent CT scans on his chest following Sunday's 33-10 win over the Vikings, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. Reed delivered six catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns in the first half of Sunday's win. He was unable to play in the final two quarters due to the injury, and his availability for a pivotal Week 18 matchup against the Bears is currently unclear.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Won't return against Vikings

Reed (chest) will not return to Sunday's game against the Vikings, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. Reed was not spotted on the sideline coming out of the locker room for the second half and has now been ruled out. Prior to exiting, he delivered six receptions for 89 yards and two scores, helping the Packers build an extensive lead over their division rival. Reed will now turn his attention to a pivotal Week 18 matchup against the Bears.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Exits with chest injury

Reed left Sunday's game at Minnesota due to a chest injury. Reed was in the midst of putting together his best performance of the season prior to the Packers deeming him questionable to return at the start of the third quarter. On eight targets, he'd hauled in six passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns (33 and 25 yards). Considering Green Bay already is down Christian Watson (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) on Sunday, the receiving corps has been whittled down to Romeo Doubs, Malik Heath, Samori Toure and Bo Melton.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

Christian Watson (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (chest) seem unlikely to play in Week 17 at Minnesota after both didn't practice all week. Watson is listed as doubtful and Wicks is questionable, but Reed is full go after missing Week 16 at Carolina with a toe injury. I like Reed as a high-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues at Minnesota in Week 17. Prior to missing Week 16, Reed had scored at least 15 PPR points in five of his past six games. • Packers' Jayden Reed: Cleared for Sunday night

Reed (toe/chest) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Minnesota, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Meanwhile, WR Christian Watson (hamstring) is doubtful, and Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) is listed as questionable but appears less than 50/50 to play. Reed has been a key part of Green Bay's passing game in any case, and he and Romeo Doubs figure to be the two top options for Jordan Love come Sunday night. Reed's chest injury has been lingering for a while without threatening his availability, whereas the toe injury forced him to the inactive list for last week's 33-30 win at Carolina.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Limited Thursday

Reed (toe/chest) was limited at practice Thursday. Reed received the same listing on Wednesday's estimated practice report due to the pair of injuries that have impacted his on-field reps since Week 12 prep. The toe issue forced the rookie second-round pick to miss this past Sunday's game in Carolina, but he seems to be closing in on active status again, which could be revealed as soon as the Packers post their final injury report of the week Friday. Meanwhile, Christian Watson (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) have yet to mix into drills this week, so a returning Reed could be in line for a large workload alongside Romeo Doubs if he's able to suit up.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Officially limited Wednesday

Reed (toe/chest) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Among the Packers' banged-up wide receivers, Reed was the only one to log any on-field work to begin Week 17 prep, while Christian Watson (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) went down as non-participants. Reed wasn't able to practice at all last week before being inactive this past Sunday in Carolina, so he's in a better spot on the health front as this weekend's game in Minnesota approaches.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Returns to practice Wednesday

Reed (toe/chest) took part in Wednesday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. After failing to practice at all last week due to a toe injury suffered Week 15, Reed was unsurprisingly included on the Packers' inactive list ahead of this past Sunday's win at Carolina. Fellow wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks was ruled out with a chest issue in the second half of that contest and was listed as a non-participant Wednesday along with Christian Watson (hamstring), who hasn't played since Week 13.
... See More ... See Less
  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Listed as questionable for Week 16

Reed (toe) didn't practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Carolina, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Reed was outside with his teammates for Friday's practice but ultimately didn't participate, marking his third consecutive absence following a late exit from a 34-20 loss to Tampa Bay in Week 15. With Christian Watson (hamstring) listed as doubtful and his replacement (Dontayvion Wicks) now questionable due to an ankle injury, the Packers have just Romeo Doubs at full strength among their top four options at wide receiver. It's still possible both Reed and Wicks play, in which case they'd form the top trio along with Doubs. If one or both are inactive, Malik Heath and/or Samori Toure will fill in (Heath benefitted from Reed's absence at the end of last Sunday's loss). The lack of practice participation this week suggests Reed will be a game-time decision, at best, ahead of the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday, whereas Wicks was able to practice on a limited basis this week and thus appears in less danger of missing the game.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Starts week with practice absence

Reed (toe) isn't practicing Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Reed dealt with chest and ankle injuries earlier this month, but it was a different injury that knocked him out of Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay in the fourth quarter. An absence from practice to start the week suggests he's in at least some danger of missing this Sunday's game at Carolina.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Hurts toe Sunday

Reed suffered a toe injury during Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. Prior to his departure late in the fourth quarter, Reed had hauled in six of eight targets for 52 yards and one touchdown. Considering Christian Watson (hamstring) and Samori Toure (coach's decision) are inactive, the Packers are left with Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, Malik Heath and Bo Melton at wide receiver.
