Browns' Drew Forbes: Ends up on IR
Forbes (knee) has been placed on the Browns' IR list, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
After getting seriously injured in the Browns' preseason finale, Forbes is slated to miss the remainder of the season on the IR list unless he works out an injury settlement with the team. The sixth-round pick from the 2019 Draft opted out last season and didn't receive many snaps during his rookie season.

Forbes has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's preseason game against the Falcons due to a left knee injury, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Forbes went down midway through the second quarter due to the injury and was ruled out for the game shortly after. The 2019 sixth-rounder is on the roster bubble ahead of the regular season, but it's not yet clear whether the injury will impact his availability for Week 1 against Kansas City if he makes the 53-man roster.
