  • Chargers' Kemon Hall: Staying with Bolts

The Chargers re-signed Hall on Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Hall entered the offseason as a restricted free agent, but the Chargers elected him to explore free agency last week when they declined to tender him a contract. The 25-year-old will ultimately stick around in L.A. for the 2023 season, but he'll still have to battle for a spot on the 53-man roster. The 25-year-old cornerback appeared in two games for the Chargers in 2022, logging one tackle.

He could ultimately find a role as a contributor on special teams and as depth in a team's secondary.

The 25-year-old has suited up for just two contests this season, and his absence isn't expected to alter the Chargers' defensive game plan moving forward considering Hall hasn't played a defensive snap in 2022.
