Ngata spent the 2023 campaign on the Eagles' practice squad and he'll now stick around for the offseason. The wide receiver has yet to make his professional debut after going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft in April.

A little over a week after bringing him onto their practice squad, the Eagles have already decided to cut ties with Ngata. The undrafted rookie will now have to look for another opportunity to make an impression elsewhere.

Ngata signed with the Eagles' practice squad Wednesday.
Ngata missed out on a 53-man roster spot with the Eagles after he was waived Tuesday, but he'll remain in the organization ahead of the 2023 campaign. During his final collegiate season at Clemson, the undrafted rookie logged 41 receptions for 526 yards and two touchdowns.

Ngata signed a contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent Friday.
Ngata will head to Philadelphia after four seasons with Clemson, most recently recording 41 catches for 526 yards and two touchdowns in 2022. The 6-foot-3 wide receiver will now look to compete for a roster spot in 2023 with the Eagles, though he seems likeliest to start his career as a practice-squad option.
