Jets' Garrett Wilson: No injury concerns
Coach Robert Saleh said Monday that Wilson (undisclosed) has been cleared of any injuries following Sunday's 30-10 loss to the Cowboys.
Wilson had the wind knocked out of him in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss, but he didn't sustain any form of serious injury. He caught two of eight targets for 83 yards and a touchdown prior to leaving the field. With another tough defense on deck Week 3 when the Jets take on the Patriots, though, Wilson could be primed for another matchup in which Zach Wilson struggles to get the ball in his hands consistently.

Jets' Garrett Wilson: Wind knocked out late in loss
Wilson (undisclosed) went to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 30-10 loss in Dallas, Connor Hughes of SportsNet New York reports. He caught two of eight targets for 83 yards and a touchdown prior to getting hurt.
Wilson checked himself out of the game and went into the blue medical tent after consulting with trainers along the sideline. He was taken to the locker room in the final minutes of the blowout loss, in which Wilson scored New York's only touchdown on a 68-yard catch and run. Per Andy Vasquez of NJ Advance Media, head coach Robert Saleh said after the game that Wilson had the wind knocked out of him and should be fine moving forward. Zach Wilson struggled to get Wilson the ball against a tough Dallas defense. Despite opening the season on a two-game touchdown streak, Wilson will have a low touch floor in Week 3 against the Patriots, even if his injury doesn't lead to additional missed time.

Jets' Garrett Wilson: Back to Wilson under center
Wilson will be working with Zach Wilson as his quarterback in Week 2 against the Cowboys and beyond after tests Tuesday confirmed a season-ending Achilles injury for Aaron Rodgers, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.
Garrett didn't catch a single touchdown pass in the nine games Zach started last season, but the Wilsons connected for a pivotal score in the Jets' 22-16 overtime win over the Bills on Monday. Rodgers went down with the season-ending injury in the first quarter before completing a single pass with the Jets, and while predictions of a spectacular sophomore season from Wilson were tied in large part to the expected upgrade in quarterback play, the 2022 first-round draft pick out of Ohio State could still be poised to build on his 1,103-yard rookie season.
