  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Plans to play Week 1 next season

Robinson (knee) said Sunday that he plans on being healthy for Week 1 of the 2023 regular season, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports. Robinson added that the ACL tear in his right knee was pretty clean, which gives the wideout optimism that he'll recover quickly. He's currently on crutches but said he'll get to ditch those next week. The second-round rookie was a solid contributor before suffering the injury in Week 11, totaling 23 receptions on 31 targets for 227 yards and one score across six appearances. If Robinson is healthy to start next season, he'll likely be a favorite to open the year as one of the Giants' top pass catchers.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Gets ACL repaired Wednesday

Robinson announced via his personal Twitter account that he underwent season-ending surgery Wednesday to repair the torn ACL in his right knee. Robinson will miss the rest of the season as a result of the knee injury he originally sustained Week 11, and given the timing of his procedure, he could be in danger of missing the start of the 2023 campaign as well. The 5-foot-8 wideout appeared in six games as a rookie, finishing with a 23-227-1 receiving line on 31 targets.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Goes on injured reserve

The Giants placed Robinson (knee) on injured reserve Monday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Robinson was forced from Sunday's loss to the Lions early in the fourth quarter with a knee injury, and afterward he needed crutches to move around the locker room. One day later, coach Brian Daboll revealed that Robinson sustained a torn ACL in his right knee, thereby ending the rookie second-round pick's season. Robinson will finish his first year as a pro with 23 catches (on 31 targets) for 227 yards and one touchdown, while his two carries went for a combined minus-1 yard. In Robinson's absence, the Giants will rely on Darius Slayton, Kenny Golladay and a host of depth options at wide receiver.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Done for season with ACL tear

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Robinson suffered an ACL tear in his right knee during Sunday's 31-18 loss to the Lions and will require season-ending surgery in the coming days, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports. Robinson becomes the third member of a depleted Giants receiving corps to suffer a season-ending injury, joining Sterling Shepard (ACL) and Collin Johnson (Achilles). After recovering from another injury to his right knee that limited him to nine snaps over the first five games of the season, Robinson had emerged as one of the few reliable targets for Daniel Jones. In Weeks 6 through 11, the 5-foot-8, 185-pound wideout totaled 22 receptions for 222 yards and a touchdown on 30 targets. Due to the timing of the injury and his upcoming surgery, Robinson is likely to miss the Giants' entire offseason program, and his rehab and recovery could extend into the start of the 2023 season. The Giants now are left with Darius Slayton and Kenny Golladay atop the depth chart at wide receiver, with Isaiah Hodgins, Marcus Johnson, Richie James and David Sills as depth options.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Seen on crutches

Robinson (knee) was spotted using crutches after Sunday's 31-18 loss to the Lions, Jaclyn Hendricks of the New York Post reports. The Giants play again in just four days against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, and while a return timetable has yet to emerge for Robinson, it's hard to imagine him suiting up in Week 12, even in a best-case scenario. Robinson went down at the end of his ninth and final catch against Detroit and was unable to put any weight on his injured right leg. New York will likely provide an update on the rookie receiver's status after running tests on the injury.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Sustains knee injury Sunday

Robinson won't return Sunday's game against the Lions due to a knee injury, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports. On the first play of the fourth quarter, Robinson recorded a six-yard reception and was pushed out of bounds. He remained on the ground, though, before trainers helped him to the locker room, as he was unable to put any weight on his right leg. Robinson thus will finish Week 11 action with nine catches (on 13 targets) for 100 yards and one carry for four yards. The Giants have a quick turnaround for a Thanksgiving matchup at Dallas, so he could be in danger of missing time if the injury is at all serious.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Suiting up Sunday

Robinson (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday against the Lions. After feeling tightness in his hamstring at Wednesday's practice, Robinson was held out Thursday before managing another limited session to round out Week 11 prep. Coach Brian Daboll told Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com on Friday that Robinson was "trending in the right direction" to suit up Sunday, and that has come to pass. Robinson thus will work in concert with Darius Slayton as the Giants' top options at wide receiver, with Kenny Golladay (hamstring) and Isaiah Hodgins likely the next players up at the position.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Questionable for Week 11

Robinson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports. The rookie slot receiver felt tightness in his hamstring Wednesday and was held out of practice Thursday, but coach Brian Daboll said Friday that Robinson is "trending in the right direction" to play Sunday. Despite seeing only five targets the past two games -- his first NFL starts -- Robinson has played more than two-thirds of offensive snaps in three straight appearances and seems locked in as a key part of the Giants' low-volume passing game. Darius Slayton also has been a regular for about a month now, while the other WR spot still appears contested between Kenny Golladay, Isaiah Hodgins and (maybe) Marcus Johnson.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Not practicing, may sit Week 11

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Robinson (hamstring) won't practice Thursday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports. Robinson will sit out after Daboll said the rookie's hamstring tightened up on him during Wednesday's practice, resulting in the wideout being listed as a limited participant on the Giants' first Week 11 injury report. Given that Robinson already missed four games earlier this season with a knee injury and now isn't practicing on account of the hamstring issue, he may have a tough time gaining clearance for Sunday's game against the Lions. Kenny Golladay (hamstring) could also be in danger of missing that contest, potentially leaving the Giants with Darius Slayton, Isaiah Hodgins, Marcus Johnson, David Sills and Richie James as the available options in an already weak receiver room.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Tending to hamstring issue

Robinson was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Since sitting out Weeks 2 through 5 due to a knee issue, Robinson has steadily taken on a larger snap share over the Giants' last four games, most recently settling at 76 percent this past Sunday against the Texans. His limitations to begin Week 11 prep may be a precautionary measure, but his activity on the practice field now bears watching Thursday and Friday to get a sense of his availability for Sunday's contest against the Lions.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Limited impact in Week 10 win

Robinson caught both of his targets for 20 yards and rushed once for minus-5 yards in Sunday's 24-16 win over the Texans. Robinson won't enjoy watching the tape from his rushing attempt, as he tried to reverse field rather than settling for a minimal loss and wound up running into a negative play. The rookie's seeing consistent usage in the slot but has only four catches for 35 yards over the past two games after setting career highs with six catches and 50 yards against the Jaguars in Week 7. A visit from the struggling Lions defense should raise Robinson's Week 11 ceiling, but his volume floor remains low in the run-first Giants offense.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Stashes (WR Preview)

There's little doubt that Robinson is the Giants' most talented pass catcher and it's very common to see rookies get a boost in opportunity after the team's bye. A role worth seven-to-nine targets a week is still possible if everything clicks in the second half with Daniel Jones.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Week 10 Waiver Priority List

Now that the trade deadline has passed and the Giants didn't add anyone at receiver, it's worth picking up Robinson and Darius Slayton (24 percent rostered) to see what happens for the rest of the year. Slayton is the safer of the two, and he has consecutive games with at least 11 PPR points prior to the Giants bye in Week 9. But Robinson has more upside if he can stay healthy and earn consistent targets, and he scored at least 11 PPR points in two of his past three games. Both are worth using as No. 3 receivers in Week 10 against Houston and both are worth adding for 5 percent of your remaining FAB. I would prioritize Robinson over Slayton if you're debating between the two of them.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Held to two grabs Sunday

Robinson caught two of three targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Seahawks. The promising rookie was coming off two solid performances in a row, but Robinson wasn't able to make an impact on an afternoon during which the entire Giants offense struggled. He'll look to recharge his batteries over a Week 9 bye, and if the team's passing game can find another gear in the second half, Robinson figures to be one of the main beneficiaries.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

Robinson appears to be OK after dealing with some undisclosed injury in Week 7 at Jacksonville. I hope he can build off what he started against the Jaguars since he had six catches for 50 yards on eight targets in the first half, and hopefully that's a sign of things to come. The Giants need playmakers in the passing game, and Robinson could be the No. 1 receiver for Daniel Jones. This week, Robinson should be considered a starting Fantasy option in all three-receiver leagues.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Week 8 Adds (WR Preview)

If Robinson can stay healthy he has 10-target weekly upside, which would make him a top-20 wide receiver on a weekly basis. He earned eight first-half targets in Week 7 before suffering an undisclosed injury. If he's a full participant at practice, you'll see him move up the rankings.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Sidesteps injury report

Robinson (undisclosed) wasn't listed on the Giants' injury report Wednesday, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports. While Robinson was able to play through an unknown injury after limping off the field in the first half of this past Sunday's win at Jacksonville, he wasn't targeted after halftime, finishing with six catches (on eight targets) for 50 yards. With a few days to rest up, he was able to avoid the first Week 8 practice report entirely, clearing him to be among quarterback Daniel Jones' top wide receivers Sunday in Seattle.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Week 8 Waiver Priority List

I hope Robinson is healthy after dealing with some sort of injury in Week 7 at Jacksonville. He was on his way toward a potentially big game with six catches for 50 yards on eight targets in the first half, and hopefully that's a sign of things to come. The Giants need playmakers in the passing game, and Robinson could be the No. 1 receiver for Daniel Jones. He's worth adding in all leagues for at least 10 percent of your remaining FAB unless we find out he's hurt and going to miss any extended time.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Week 7 Waiver Priority List

We've been waiting for Robinson to return from his knee injury since Week 1, and he finally played in Week 6 against Baltimore. He only had four targets, but he finished with three catches for 37 yards and a touchdown. There should be more production coming for Robinson given how bad the Giants receiving corps has been this season, and he could be used as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in PPR for Week 7 at Jacksonville. Robinson is worth adding for up to 10 percent of your remaining FAB.
