    Huff signed his one-year tender with the Jets on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Huff had been a restricted free agent but will now return to New York for the upcoming campaign. The 25-year-old logged six tackles (four solo) and 3.5 sacks while playing on both defense and special teams last year. Now that he's back in the fold the 2020 undrafted free agent should continue to provide solid pass-rushing depth this coming season.

    Huff (oblique) was not listed on Wednesday's injury report, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports. Huff missed time in the preseason with an oblique injury, but he will be available for Sunday's game against the Ravens. The depth defensive end has racked up four total sacks in his last two seasons with the Jets.

  • Jets' Bryce Huff: Dealing with ankle injury

    Huff is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Buccaneers after suffering an ankle injury, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports. Huff hopped off the field with the injury in the second half and was seen being examined in the medical tent. The severity of the issue is unknown, though Tim Ward could see a bit more action along the defensive line in his absence.

  • Jets' Bryce Huff: Won't play Thursday

    Huff (back) will not play in the Jets' Week 9 contest against the Colts on Thursday, Rich Cimini of reports. Huff will miss his second consecutive game in Week 9 after he missed the Jets' Week 8 win over the Bengals. The defensive end wasn't able to practice in any capacity this week, so there's no surprise with this injury designation. Expect Shaq Lawson to see a large role against the Colts on Thursday.
