Eli Wolf: Announces retirement
Free agent Wolf announced his retirement via his personal Instagram account Sunday.
Wolf signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia in 2020 and spent parts of two seasons in Baltimore before bouncing around the league with the Colts, Packers, and Commanders. He never appeared in a regular-season game after catching 25 passes in college at Tennessee and Georgia.

Eli Wolf: Not tendered by Washington
Washington didn't extend Wolf (undisclosed) a qualifying offer or contract tender as a restricted free agent Wednesday, so he's officially an unrestricted free agent, per the NFL's transaction log.
Wolf signed with the Commanders in August last year, but he landed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury just a week later and was sidelined for the entire 2022 campaign. The undrafted tight end out of Georgia has been part of four different organizations across the past three years, but he's yet to make his NFL debut.

After signing a contract with the Commanders at the beginning of August, Wolf will now miss the remainder of the preseason with an unspecified injury.
