  • Tyler Boyd: Interested in joining hometown team

Boyd and the Steelers have mutual interest, though no signing is imminent for the veteran free-agent receiver, Mark Kaboly of The Athletic reports. Boyd is from Western Pennsylvania and went to college at Pittsburgh, so it comes as little surprise that he has interest in joining one of the Bengals' division rivals. He spent the first eight years of his career in Cincinnati, where he topped 1,000 yards in 2018 and again in 2019 before taking a back seat in the Bengals offense to Tee Higgins and then Ja'Marr Chase. The 29-year-old has mostly worked out of the slot, especially in recent years, but he could also get perimeter snaps in a Pittsburgh offense with minimal talent at wideout behind George Pickens.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Hitting free agency after down year

Boyd caught one of two targets for four yards in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Browns. He finishes the season 67 catches for 667 yards and two touchdowns on 98 targets. Boyd didn't miss a game but finished with his lowest yardage and touchdown totals since 2017. The veteran slot receiver will be a free agent this offseason after spending his first eight NFL seasons in Cincinnati.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Targeted twice in loss

Boyd recorded two receptions on two targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 25-17 loss to the Chiefs. Tee Higgins was forced to miss a significant portion of Sunday's game due to a hamstring injury, but that didn't result in additional volume for Boyd. His two targets marked his fewest on the campaign, and he's now been held to under 30 yards in four of his last seven contests.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Five catches in Week 16 loss

Boyd caught five of seven targets for 59 yards in Saturday's 34-11 loss to the Steelers. Boyd produced Cincinnati's longest play of the first half with a 29-yard catch, but the Bengals took a 24-0 deficit into the locker room. He finished one target shy of the team lead shared by Tee Higgins and Andrei Iosivas in Ja'Marr Chase's (shoulder) absence. Heading into a Week 17 trip to Kansas City, Boyd has caught 64 of 94 targets for 634 yards and two touchdowns. The slot receiver needs 128 yards and two touchdowns over the next two games just to tie his lowest single-season total in each category from the previous five campaigns.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Week 16 Waiver Priority List

Boyd will get a boost in value if Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) is out in Week 16 at Pittsburgh as expected, and we'll see when Chase is able to return. Boyd doesn't have the same upside as he would with Joe Burrow (wrist), but Jake Browning should give Boyd the chance to be a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in deeper leagues. He has seven games this season with at least seven targets, and Boyd scored at least 11.2 PPR points in three of them. With Chase out, Boyd should get seven-plus targets against the Steelers in Week 16.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Plays hero in overtime

Boyd caught two passes for 53 yards on five targets in the 27-24 overtime win against the Vikings on Saturday. Boyd was mostly a non-factor -- indeed, he went into overtime with one catch for nine yards on four targets -- but he arguably made up for that with his 44-yard reception in overtime. Boyd's big play put the Bengals in range for the game-winning field goal -- a timely contribution given that Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) left the game in the second half. If Chase were to miss any time with the injury, Boyd would likely see an increased target share as a result. The Bengals go to Pittsburgh for Week 16.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Cleared for Saturday's game

Boyd (foot/ankle) doesn't carry an injury designation into Saturday's game against the Vikings after turning in a full practice Thursday. Boyd and Ja'Marr Chase (ankle) were both limited participants in Wednesday's practice session, but the two wideouts have received the green light to play this weekend after closing the week with a full practice session. For the fourth game in a row, Boyd will be working with Jake Browning as his quarterback following the season-ending wrist injury to Joe Burrow. Over Browning's first three starts, Boyd has cobbled together a 10-83-0 receiving line on 15 targets and has carried once for five yards.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Logs another limited listing

Boyd (foot/ankle) was listed as a limited participant at Wednesday's practice. Boyd was also deemed limited on Tuesday's report, so in order to approach Saturday's game against the Vikings minus an injury designation, he'll presumably need to upgrade to full participation Thursday. Fellow wideout Ja'Marr Chase (ankle) was also listed as limited Wednesday, but he told Ben Baby of ESPN.com prior to the session that he feels 100 percent healthy and expects to play this weekend.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Limited in first Week 15 practice

Boyd (foot/ankle) was listed as a limited participant on Tuesday's estimated practice report, Jay Morrison of ProFootballNetwork.com reports. Cincinnati held a walk-through session to kick off Week 15 prep, but if the team had taken the field for a traditional practice, Boyd would have had some restrictions. The wideout was listed as questionable leading up to this past Sunday's game against the Colts due to an ankle issue, but he suited up and finished with two catches for 23 yards on three targets while playing 31 of the Bengals' 60 snaps on offense in the 34-14 win. Boyd should be ready to play this coming Saturday in a Week 15 matchup with the Vikings.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Two catches in Week 14 win

Boyd (ankle) brought in two of three targets for 23 yards in the Bengals' 34-14 win over the Colts on Sunday. Boyd had a questionable tag coming in after apparently sustaining an ankle injury late in the practice week, but the veteran was able to fill his usual slot role. However, Boyd continues to offer only middling fantasy production as long as top receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are healthy, as he's now recorded 37 yards or fewer in four straight games going into a Week 15 home matchup against the Vikings on Saturday afternoon.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Set to face Colts

Boyd (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Colts. Boyd was added to the injury report Thursday after apparently suffering an ankle injury in Wednesday's session. He still managed to practice in limited fashion both Thursday and Friday and will be set to fill his typical slot receiver role against the Colts.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Questionable for Sunday

Boyd (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts after logging a limited practice Friday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports. While Boyd was deemed questionable for the contest, head coach Zac Taylor relayed Friday that he feels good about the wideout's chances of suiting up this weekend, according to Ben Baby of ESPN.com. Fortunately for those considering Boyd in Week 14 fantasy lineups, the Bengals kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. Assuming he's available versus Indianapolis, Boyd will be in line to maintain a key role in his team's passing offense alongside fellow wideouts Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Likely to play vs. Colts

Boyd (ankle) had a lot of reps at practice Friday, and Bengals head coach Zac Taylor expects the wide receiver to play Sunday against the Colts, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports. Boyd was added to the injury report after a limited practice Thursday, but it's possible the slot receiver could avoid a Week 14 designation if he logs a full practice Friday. Even if Boyd carries a designation into Sunday's game, Friday's activity coupled with the coach's optimism suggest that the receiver is likely to suit up against Indianapolis, barring a setback.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Added to injury report

Boyd (ankle) was limited at practice Thursday. Boyd practiced fully Wednesday, so it's possible that he sustained his ankle injury during Thursday's session. Either way, the wideout's addition to the Bengals' injury report makes his status worth tracking ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts. In this past Monday's 34-31 overtime win over the Jaguars, Boyd caught five of his seven targets for 37 yards and rushed once for five yards.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Five catches in Week 13 win

Boyd secured five of seven targets for 37 yards in the Bengals' 34-31 overtime win over the Jaguars on Monday night. He also rushed once for five yards. Boyd finished third in receptions and receiving yards on the night, playing his trademark short-area role while returning to his customary No. 3 receiver duties thanks to Tee Higgins' availability after a three-game absence. Boyd's catch total was his second highest since Week 6, but he'll remain in a relatively low-upside role during a Week 14 home battle against the Colts.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Quiet against Pittsburgh

Boyd recorded three receptions on five targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Steelers. The Bengals' offense struggled to get things going without Joe Burrow (wrist), and Boyd was no exception. He averaged only 7.7 yards per catch, and his longest gain of the day went for only 10 yards. With Jake Browning under center for the rest of the season, it's likely that Boyd will continue to struggle to rack up yardage, even if his targets remain relatively consistent.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Limited to three catches Thursday

Boyd brought in three of six targets for 22 yards in the Bengals' 34-20 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night. Despite the fact Tee Higgins (hamstring) missed a second straight game, Boyd couldn't come close to replicating the 117-yard performance he posted against the Texans in Week 10 during his teammate's first absence. Outside of Boyd's stellar output in that contest, he's had a quiet season, and he's now recorded a modest three receptions in three of the past four games. Boyd could return to his usual No. 3 receiver role in a Week 12 home matchup against the Steelers on Sunday, Nov. 26, a game in which Higgins has a chance to be available for given the extra recovery time afforded.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Flex Starter (Lineup Decisions)

If you start Boyd, you're counting on volume to carry him to another good stat line, but probably not as good as what he had last week. The expectation is much easier to believe in if catches count because his target volume should remain strong with Higgins out, plus the Ravens will give up plenty of catches to Boyd. It helps that Baltimore's run defense could deter the Bengals from piling the touches on Joe Mixon. He's best as a flex but does have enough upside to be a WR2 in PPR. If catches count I'd start him over Jordan Addison, DeAndre Hopkins and Chris Godwin.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Eclipses century mark in loss

Boyd secured eight of 12 targets for 117 yards in the Bengals' 30-27 loss to the Texans on Sunday. With Tee Higgins (hamstring) sidelined and Ja'Marr Chase believed to be at less than 100 percent due to his back injury, Boyd unsurprisingly drew a team-high number of targets and parlayed them into the team lead in receptions. Both figures, as well as the yardage tally, were season highs for the veteran wideout, who could be tasked with a larger role again in a Week 11 road divisional clash against the Ravens on Thursday night.

  • Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Week 10 Waiver Priority List

Boyd only had three catches for 56 yards on five targets in Week 9 against Buffalo, but prior to that he scored at least 13.6 PPR points in two games in a row against Seattle and San Francisco. Ja'Marr Chase (back) is banged up heading into Week 10 against Houston, and Joe Burrow might lean more on Boyd if Chase can't play against the Texans. Boyd is worth adding for 5-10 percent of your FAB.
