  • Broncos' Mike McGlinchey: Restructures deal

The Broncos restructured McGlinchey's (ribs) contract Friday, Field Yates of ESPN reports. The 29-year-old offensive lineman had been dealing with a ribs issue towards the end of Denver's 2023 campaign, but it seems as if he's moved past it. By restructuring McGlinchey's contract, the Broncos were able to create another $11 million in cap space, per Yates. McGlinchey still has four years remaining on his contract, and he's expected to remain Denver's starting right tackle in 2024.

  • Broncos' Mike McGlinchey: Out 2-3 weeks

McGlinchey sustained a knee sprain during practice Tuesday and will miss two-to-three weeks, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. While this injury shouldn't affect his availability for Week 1 versus Las Vegas, the 28-year-old's health could be a significant factor for Denver's offense, as he's expected to fill a starting role at right tackle in 2023.

  • Broncos' Mike McGlinchey: Injured in practice

McGlinchey suffered a lower-body injury during practice Tuesday, James Palmer of NFL Network reports. McGlinchey got rolled up and limped off the field with a trainer. It's unclear how what the specific injury is or how sever it may be. The Notre Dame product signed a five-year, $87.5 million deal with the team in March with the expectations that he'd be the starting right tackle, so it'd be bad news for the Broncos if he were to miss an extended period of time.
