Mone (knee) was placed on the Seahawks' active/PUP list Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. Mone missed the final five games of Seattle's 2022 season with an ACL injury, and according to head coach Pete Carroll, he still has a "long way" to go. The veteran nose tackle has been with the Seahawks for all four years of his career, appearing in 41 games and recording 73 tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks. There is currently no timetable for his recovery.... See More ... See Less

Seahawks' Bryan Mone: Still has long rehab ahead
Speaking Thursday, coach Pete Carroll said Mone (knee) has a "long way" to go in his recovery from a torn ACL, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports. Mone suffered a torn ACL in Week 15 last season, and he then had other complications with the knee during surgery, further delaying his rehab. The 27-year-old is entering his fifth season but hasn't even progressed to running yet and will not be ready for training camp next month. Mone could miss multiple games to open the 2023 season. He was in on 30 percent of the defensive snaps for Seattle last year.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Bryan Mone: Hits IR on Tuesday
The Seahawks placed Mone (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Mone will spend the remainder of the 2022 season on IR after injuring his ACL in Week 16 versus San Francisco. The 27-year-old logged 25 tackles and a pass defended while playing a rotational role at nose tackle over 13 games this season. To help make up for this loss, the Seahawks also signed defensive tackle Jarrod Hewitt to the practice squad Tuesday.... See More ... See Less -

Mone signed a two-year, $12 million extension with the Seahawks on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Mone has been a consistent presence for Seattle's defense over the last two seasons, totaling 44 tackles and two sacks across 24 games. The undrafted defensive tackle out of Michigan started five games last year and should continue to fill in as a rotational piece over the next two years.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Bryan Mone: Not on injury report
Mone (knee) isn't on the injury report ahead of Sunday's game against Houston, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Mone sustained a knee injury in last week's win over the 49ers and was unable to practice Wednesday and Thursday. However, he'll be able to play through his injury in Week 14. Across the last four games, he's totaled 12 tackles (six solo), 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Bryan Mone: Picks up injury
Mone suffered a knee injury in the Seahawks' 30-23 win over the 49ers on Sunday. Mone picked up one solo tackle before leaving with the injury. His status going forward will need to be monitored, but he'll try to return Week 14 against the Texans.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Bryan Mone: Inactive Sunday
Mone (ankle) won't play against the Titans on Sunday. Mone lost substantial time with an ankle injury in 2020 and is now sidelined with a similar issue. Al Woods should see extra snaps as a result.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Bryan Mone: Designated for return
Mone (ankle) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports. Mone was placed on IR in mid-November, but now the 21-day clock starts for Seattle to either move the 25-year-old defensive tackle onto the active roster or designate him for season-ending IR. He hasn't yet garnered a start in 2020, but Mone has commanded a defensive role of 21.9 snaps per game over eight appearances this season while collecting seven tackles and half a sack.... Seahawks' Bryan Mone: Clarified as close contact
Coach Pete Carroll relayed Monday that Mone (ankle) was a close contact to someone with COVID-19, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. This means Mone is eligible to return to team facilities later this week, as long as he doesn't test positive for the virus. His ankle sprain is still a concern. He's eligible to return from IR this week.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Bryan Mone: Officially out
As expected, Mone (ankle) has been ruled out for the Seahawks' Week 10 matchup with the Rams, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports. Mone suffered a high-ankle sprain in last week's loss to the Bills. It was subsequently reported that he was expected to miss the next two games, which means Week 12 against the Eagles would be his next possible chance to suit up. Thus, Jarran Reed and Poona Ford are the only remaining defensive tackles available for Seattle.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Bryan Mone: Dealing with serious injury
Coach Pete Carroll said that Mone suffered a high-ankle sprain during Sunday's loss to the Bills, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports. This will require a lengthy recovery, and Mone likely will miss the next two games given the Week 11 matchup against Arizona is a Thursday night game. His absence leaves Jarran Reed and Poona Ford as the only remaining defensive tackles, so the Seahawks could turn to Damon Harrison, who's currently on the practice squad.... See More ... See Less -
Bryan Mone: Signs with Seattle's practice squad

Brian Nemhauser@hawkblogger7H agoIf the Seahawks are interested in T'Vondre Sweat, they may be in a really good spot to get him. They have the 2nd pick on Day 3 of the draft (102). The Panthers have the first pick, and are an unlikely destination. If he is still around after Day 2, order an XXL jersey. https://t.co/PknhXuxASQ

Brian Nemhauser@hawkblogger7H agoOkay, I am getting distinct Creed Humphrey vibes. Everyone on here knows I want T'Vondre Sweat. If he's available and the Seahawks pass on him for some scrub, my mentions are gonna be full of his PFF grades and Pro Bowl nods for years.
