  • Bills' Jordan Poyer: Will miss big AFC East contest

Poyer (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Miami, Alec White of the Bills' official site reports.

Poyer will be sorely missed as the Bills try to slow down the Dolphins, who run the NFL's top-ranked offense and are coming off a 70-point outing. Taylor Rapp will have added responsibilities this week as the Bills try to manage Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Tua Tagovailoa.

  • Bills' Taron Johnson: Participates in full

Johnson (hip) was a full participant at Thursday's practice.

After logging a limited practice Wednesday, Johnson seems to have moved past his hip issue and looks ready for this Sunday's contest against Miami. The 27-year-old corner has recorded nine total tackles and one forced fumble through the first three weeks of the season.

  • Bills' Leonard Floyd: Practices fully Thursday

Floyd (ankle) returned to a full practice Thursday.

Initially injured in Week 2, Floyd took last Wednesday off before fully practicing Thursday and Friday. He appears to be following the same routine this week. Across three starts, the 31-year-old has recorded 3.5 sacks and five QB hits as a weapon off of the edge for Buffalo.

  • Bills' Micah Hyde: Back to full practice Thursday

Hyde (hamstring) returned to a full practice Thursday.

Hyde was listed as DNP Wednesday, but it sounds like that was more of a rest day or for precautionary reasons. The veteran safety took last Wednesday off, too. He was initially injured in Week 2. Hyde has started all three contests this season, seeing action on 89 percent of the defensive snaps while recording 12 tackles and one interception.

  • Bills' Jordan Poyer: Remains sidelined

Poyer (knee) did not practice Thursday, Alaina Getzenberg of reports.

Poyer is still dealing with knee soreness due to an injury suffered during the team's win over the Commanders in Week 3. According to head coach Sean McDermott, and as reported by Getzenberg, the Oregon State product is considered day-to-day, which leaves reason to believe the 32-year-old might be able to play Sunday against the Dolphins. Although the veteran could conceivably suit up without practicing this week, his status on Friday's injury report will be worth monitoring.

  • Bills' Siran Neal: Sits out practice

Neal (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.

Neal is one of many pieces in the Bills' secondary who popped up on the team's injury report Wednesday. The Jacksonville State product mostly sees work on special teams, but depending on his health, as well as that of his teammates, he could be in line for a larger role Sunday against the Dolphins.

  • Bills' Taron Johnson: Doesn't practice in full

Johnson (hip) logged a limited practice Wednesday.

Johnson handled his typical workload in Sunday's win over the Commanders, so it's hard to say how severe the injury could be. The 27-year-old will try and ramp up his activity to a full participant in practice Thursday, ahead of the team's Week 4 divisional clash with the Dolphins.

  • Bills' Leonard Floyd: Still dealing with injury

Floyd (ankle) will not practice Wednesday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Floyd has been dealing with the injury since suffering it in the team's Week 2 win over the Raiders, although he did play Sunday against the Commanders. It's unclear if he aggravated the injury or if Wednesday can be viewed more as a maintenance or recovery day for the veteran linebacker. His practice status for Thursday will be worth monitoring and likely bring more clarity to his availability Week 4 against the Dolphins.
