  • Broncos' Baron Browning: Upgrades to full participant

Browning (knee) practiced in full Thursday.

Browning suffered a right knee injury in Sunday's contest against the 49ers, but his ability to return as a full participant during Thursday's session indicates he's moved past the issue. The second-year linebacker figures to serve as a rotational piece within Denver's linebacker corps Sunday against the Raiders.

  • Broncos' Melvin Gordon: Remains limited in practice

Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said Gordon (neck) will remain a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Though Gordon has had his reps capped in both of the Broncos' first two Week 4 practice session, Hackett hasn't suggested that the running back's status is in major jeopardy for Sunday's 4:25 ET game against the Raiders. Assuming he's able to suit up for that contest, Gordon would continue to share backfield work with Javonte Williams this weekend versus Las Vegas.

  • Broncos' Melvin Gordon: Logs limited practice

Gordon was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to a neck injury, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

At this stage, there's nothing to suggest that Gordon's availability for Sunday's game against the Raiders is in any danger, but his status is now worth tracking nonetheless. Three games into the 2022 season, Gordon has logged 34 carries and nine passing targets, while fellow running back Javonte Williams has carried 37 times and been targeted 21 times. While he continues to occupy the smaller side of a timeshare, Gordon's weekly fantasy upside is limited, but he has at least notched double-digit carries in each of his first three outings.

  • Broncos' D.J. Jones: Still sidelined with concussion

Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said Jones (concussion) won't practice Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Jones suffered a concussion in the third quarter of the team's Week 3 win over the 49ers and will remain sidelined during the first practice ahead of Week 4. He'll have two more days to clear concussion protocols, but if he's ruled out, Mike Purcell and Matt Henningsen would be candidates for increased roles against the Raiders.

  • Broncos' Tyrie Cleveland: Sits out Wednesday's practice

Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said Cleveland (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Cleveland was held out of the team's Week 3 win over the 49ers after presumably suffering a hamstring injury during a practice. He'll have two more days to upgrade to at least a limited participant before the Broncos have to make a decision on his status for Week 4. Regardless, even if Cleveland is healthy, he'll face a tough time garnering any targets behind Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler.

  • Broncos' Randy Gregory: Notches another sack

Gregory tallied three tackles and a sack in Sunday's 11-10 win over the 49ers.

Gregory had one of four takedowns of 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo as Denver moved to 2-1 on the season. After signing a five-year, $70 million deal in the offseason, Gregory has thus far provided the pass-rushing lift the Broncos anticipated with two sacks, two forced fumbles and six quarterback pressures through three games.

  • Broncos' Mike Purcell: Records first sack of season

Purcell recorded five solo tackles and one sack during Sunday's 11-10 win over the 49ers.

Purcell chased Jimmy Garoppolo out of the back of the end zone in the third quarter to notch his first sack of the campaign and a pivotal safety for the Broncos. It was the undrafted defensive tackle's third-career sack across seven seasons.

  • Broncos' Josey Jewell: Records nine tackles

Jewell recorded nine tackles (five solo), one sack and one fumble recovery in Sunday's 11-10 win over the 49ers.

Jewell's 2022 debut was an impressive one, as he led the team in tackles (9), quarterback hits (2) and tackles for loss (2). The 27-year-old linebacker's one fumble recovery and one sack were also tied for the team lead in those categories. If Sunday is any indication, Jewell will likely be an impact player for the Broncos' defense this season, making him an intriguing IDP option. The 6-foot-2, 236-pounder will look to improve upon his stellar performance when the Broncos visit the Raiders in Week 4.

  • Broncos' KJ Hamler: Not targeted in win

Hamler failed to see a target in Sunday's 11-10 win over the 49ers.

Hamler was a complete nonfactor on a day when the Broncos could've used a major offensive spark. The 23-year-old receiver has yet to record a catch in either of the two games he's appeared in. After playing 59 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps in Week 1 and sitting out in Week 2 for maintenance reasons with both knee and hip injuries, Hamler was on the field for just 26 percent of snaps in Week 3. Like most of Denver's skill position players, the third-year wideout has fallen victim to an offense that is struggling to find its rhythm. If and when that is fixed, Hamler will look to take advantage of his opportunities as a speedy target for one of the league's best deep ball throwers in Russell Wilson. Nonetheless, his lack of involvement in the passing game to this point makes him nothing more than a dart throw when the Broncos visit the Raiders in Week 4.

  • Broncos' Albert Okwuegbunam: Catches one pass in win

Okwuegbunam caught one of two targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 11-10 win over the 49ers.

Okwuegbunam continued his disappointing start to the 2022 season, seeing just two targets for the second straight week. What's more concerning is that the 24-year-old played on just 24 of the Broncos' 74 offensive snaps, 11 fewer than fellow tight ends Eric Saubert and Eric Tomlinson. Fantasy managers hoping for Okwuegbunam to take a major step forward this season will have to take a wait-and-see approach as Denver works to repair an offense that has been disjointed through three weeks. Until then, the 6-foot-5, 258-pounder will be extremely difficult to trust for fantasy purposes when the Broncos visit the Raiders in Week 4.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Misses field goal

McManus made one of his two field-goal attempts and did not have any extra-point tries in Sunday night's 11-10 win over the 49ers.

McManus drilled a 55-yard field goal on his first kick, but he went wide right from 53 yards on his second attempt. Through three games, he now sports 23 points, tying him for 10th league-wide at his position.
