  • Broncos' Frank Clark: Dealing with partial abductor tear

Clark indicated Thursday that he has a partial tear in his abductor muscle, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

The Broncos' official injury report lists Clark as a non-participant at practice due this week to a hip issue, but the linebacker further clarified that Thursday. Come Friday, look for Clark to be official ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bears.

  • Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Limited again Thursday

Jeudy (knee) remained a limited participant at practice Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Jeudy will presumably need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid taking an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Bears. Through two appearances this season, Jeudy has produced an 8-106-0 receiving line on 12 targets.

  • Broncos' Justin Simmons: Limited in practice

Simmons (hip) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Zac Stevens of reports.

Simmons is now trending toward playing on Sunday after sitting out last week's blowout loss to Miami. If the 29-year-old is able to play, he should help bolster a Denver secondary that allowed 70 points last week in his absence.

  • Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Limited at practice Wednesday

Jeudy was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to a knee injury.

Jeudy was on the field for 47 of a possible 62 snaps on offense in this past Sunday's 70-20 loss to the Dolphins, finishing with five receptions for 81 yards. The Broncos haven't revealed whether his limitations Wednesday stem from an injury he sustained Week 3, or if he suffered an in-practice setback. In any case, his status is now worth tracking as this weekend's game against the Bears approaches.

  • Broncos' Brandon Johnson: Catches two passes in loss

Johnson caught two of his three targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 70-20 loss to the Dolphins.

Johnson played 60 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps Sunday, operating as Denver's No. 3 wideout. Meanwhile, rookie Marvin Mims continued to play behind Johnson, logging just a 24 percent snap share. Unfortunately, the veteran was unable to produce much for fantasy purposes despite being in a pass-heavy game script for most of the contest. Going forward, it's reasonable to think that Johnson could fall behind Mims on the depth chart if the first-year receiver continues to make big plays on an offense that desperately needs a spark. Nonetheless, the 25-year-old will look to keep a hold of his spot on the depth chart in a favorable matchup in Week 3, as the Broncos visit the Bears and their struggling defense.
