Seguin scored a goal on three shots, added a power-play assist, went plus-2 and logged four hits in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kraken in Game 2.
Seguin's had a strong postseason, as this was his third multi-point effort through eight playoff games. His tip-in tally in the third period beat Philipp Grubauer five-hole. Seguin has five tallies, three assists, 27 shots on net, 17 hits and a plus-2 rating in the playoffs, and he's maintained a top-line role even with Joe Pavelski back for the second round.

Seguin set up Roope Hintz on the opening tally as the Stars went on to win the first-round series 4-2. The 31-year-old Seguin spent much of the series on the top line in place of Joe Pavelski (concussion), and Seguin was able to contribute four goals, two assists, 22 shots on net, 10 hits and a plus-1 rating over six contests. If Pavelski can play in the second round, Seguin would likely return to a middle-six role.

Seguin opened the scoring early in the first period after Marcus Foligno's major penalty for kneeing Radek Faksa. In the second, Seguin set up a Mason Marchment tally. With Joe Pavelski (concussion) out, Seguin was able to act as a net-front presence, leading to the Stars' second goal of the game. The 31-year-old Seguin was also bumped up to Pavelski's usual spot alongside Roope Hintz and Jason Robertson on the top line. That role could give Seguin a boost in the postseason. Seguin had a goal and an assist -- both on the power play -- in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Blues.
Seguin helped out on Wyatt Johnston's second goal of the night before adding one himself in the final minute of the second period. Both points came in the middle frame, during which the Stars struck three times on the power play. Seguin has surged to the 50-point mark with a game to spare by producing six points in his last six games. Four of those six points have come on the power play.
