Hall wasn't available for Thursday's practice because of a lower-body injury, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Hall's lower-body injury wasn't seen as too concerning to Blackhawks coach Luke Richardson, but he also said that they'll hopefully know more "tomorrow or the next few days." Hall, who Chicago acquired from Boston over the summer, is penciled in to play alongside Connor Bedard and Tyler Johnson on the first line to start the season. Ryan Donato served in Hall's spot during Thursday's skate.

Blackhawks' Taylor Hall: Traded to Blackhawks
Hall and Nick Foligno were traded from Boston to Chicago on Monday in exchange for defensemen Ian Mitchell and Alec Regula.
Hall still has another two seasons left on his four-year, $24 million contract. He produced 16 goals and 36 points in 61 games with the Bruins during the 2022-23 campaign. Hall should receive a much larger role in Chicago, and he could see playing time alongside Connor Bedard, who is expected to be selected No. 1 overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft by the Blackhawks.

Bruins' Taylor Hall: Four-point eruption Sunday
Hall recorded two goals and two assists Sunday, with one helper coming on the power play, in a 6-2 win over the Panthers during Game 4 of the Bruins' first-round series.
After helping to set up Jake DeBrusk for tallies in the second and third periods, Hall wrapped up the big win by potting Boston's final two goals, including one empty-netter. The 31-year-old is having a huge start to his postseason, pouring in four goals and seven points over the last three games, and he'll take a wave of momentum into Wednesday's Game 5 as the Bruins look to advance to the second round.
