Forsberg underwent surgery on both knees in February and stated that he could return to the ice at this time but wanted to strengthen his knees even more. Forsberg was reported to be able to move his extremities in hospital, so that's a relief after he was stretchered off the ice in Saturday's loss to Edmonton.
