Maple Leafs' William Nylander: Goal drought continues
Nylander failed to find the back of the net against the Panthers on Tuesday despite putting seven shots on net.
Nylander has now gone five straight contests without a goal and is stuck in a three-game pointless streak. During the regular season, the Calgary native's worst slump was six games. Combined with the fact that he's recorded 24 shots during his slump, fantasy players shouldn't be too worried about his goalless streak lasting overly long.

Maple Leafs' William Nylander: Offense still struggling
Nylander played 13:32 in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to Boston.
He skated with John Tavares and Mitchell Marner, but he didn't really seem to click. And his 5v5 ice time was limited -- Nylander saw just 9:15 at even strength, with 4:17 on the power play. The ice time drop is significant -- Willie has averaged 18:38 this season. And his offensive struggles in his last 12 games are mounting. Nylander has just two goals and one assist in that span, and Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe is juggling lines to try to kickstart the winger.

Nylander picked up his 37th goal of the season in a 3-0 win over Ottawa on Saturday.
The goal showed off Nylander's puck skills. He took a pass from Alex Kerfoot with his left foot in the high slot and quickly moved it to his stick. It was off his blade in a split second and through Mads Sogaard into the net. Nylander has scuffled lately -- this was only his fourth goal since Feb. 26 -- so this skill play could be a good sign.
