Wild's Zane McIntyre: Recalled from AHL
McIntyre was recalled from AHL Iowa on Friday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports. McIntyre was recalled after Filip Gustavsson was ill in the latter stages of Wednesday's 5-1 win over Tampa Bay. The plan is to keep Gustavsson in Minnesota Saturday when the Wild are in Buffalo and hope that he is well enough to start Sunday at home versus St. Louis. That would allow McIntyre to back up Marc-Andre Fleury on Saturday. McIntyre has not played in an NHL game since the 2016-17 season, when he went 0-4-1 with a 3.96 GAA and an .858 save percentage for the Bruins.... See More ... See Less -

Wild's Zane McIntyre: Demoted to AHL

Wild's Zane McIntyre: Secures one-year deal
McIntyre inked a one-year, two-way contract with Minnesota on Tuesday. Per NHL rules, McIntyre was designated for waivers Tuesday in order to officially reassign him to AHL Iowa. The 2010 sixth-round pick appeared in three games with AHL Tucson this year which was evidently enough to convince Minnesota to sign him to a two-way deal. Zane McIntyre: Released from tryout
The Coyotes released McIntyre from his professional tryout offer Wednesday, TSN reports. The Coyotes already have Adin Hill locked in as their No. 3 netminder, so McIntyre was always going to have a hard time securing a contract during camp. The 28-year-old American will hope to land a two-way deal with another organization. If he's unable to do so, McIntyre may have to head overseas to continue his playing career.... See More ... If he ends up getting a contract offer from the Coyotes, it will almost certainly be a two-way deal.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Zane McIntyre: Bumps up a rank
The Canucks recalled McIntyre from AHL Utica on Monday. With Jacob Markstrom taking a leave of absence, the Canucks brought up McIntyre to serve with Thatcher Demko as the team's two goaltenders. It's unsettled who will start in net Tuesday against the Red Wings.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Zane McIntyre: Earns one-year deal
McIntyre signed a one-year, two-way contract with Vancouver on Monday. McIntyre is unlikely to get more than a cup of coffee in the NHL this season, as the Canucks are already set with Jacob Markstrom and Thatcher Demko between the pipes.
