MacEachern signed a two-year, one-way contract with St. Louis on Saturday.
MacEachern's one-way contract suggests he will get a chance to land a roster spot with the Blues out of training camp in the fall. He notched 11 goals and 30 points in 37 games with AHL Chicago during the 2022-23 campaign.
MacEachern scored a goal on two shots while picking up an assist versus the Islanders in Sunday's 5-2 win in Game 4.
MacEachern -- who was brought up from the minors after Teuvo Teravainen (hand) was injured -- certainly made the most of his first game this postseason with his pair of points. Depending on the availability of Jack Drury (upper body) for Game 5 on Tuesday, MacEachern could find himself moving up the depth chart after entering the lineup in a fourth-line role.
