Stars' Oscar Back: Dropped to minors

Back was reassigned to AHL Texas on Tuesday, Bruce LeVine of Dallas Stars Radio reports. Back tallied four goals and 14 points across 52 games in Sweden last season. He's yet to make his NHL or AHL debut and it appears he'll be starting the year in the minors.

Now Jamie Benn & Joel Eriksson Ek are jawing/slashing each other away from the puck, during play. Both players are being sent to the box - it's almost as though these 2 teams were recent playoff opponents. Editorial note: it's a shame the Stars & Wild only play 3 times this year

Stars head coach Pete DeBoer is now giving referee Kyle Rehman more than an earful. DeBoer is clearly not happy to see Wedgewood get flattened in a preseason game and the only penalty is a bench minor on the Stars.
