Reedy signed a one-year, two-way contract with Dallas on Monday.
Reedy registered 11 goals and 23 points in 56 AHL games between San Jose and Texas last season. The 24-year-old forward will probably start the 2023-24 campaign in the minors.

Stars' Scott Reedy: Picked up by Stars
Reedy was acquired by Dallas from San Jose on Friday in exchange for Jacob Peterson.
Reedy has five goals and 13 points in 38 games with the AHL's Barracuda in 2022-23. He hasn't played in the NHL this season, but he did score seven goals and nine points in 35 contests with the Sharks in 2021-22. Dallas plans to assign Reedy to AHL Texas.

Reedy tallied at 7:15 of the second period, shortly after the Kraken had a potential tiebreaking goal taken off the board. This was his first NHL goal, and it was also the game-winner.
