Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Agrees to two-year extension
Miller signed a two-year, $7.744 million contract with the Rangers on Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Miller was a restricted free agent after completing his entry-level deal. The 23-year-old blueliner compiled nine goals, 43 points, 113 shots on net, 105 blocked shots and 162 hits in 79 games last season. Miller has become an integral part of New York's top-four defense group while developing a strong two-way presence on the ice.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Hit with three-game suspension
Miller has been suspended for three games for unsportsmanlike conduct on LA's Drew Doughty during Sunday's win over the Kings.
Miller won't be eligible to return until March 9 for a matchup with Montreal. With Miller, who's racked up 30 points through 60 contests this season, unavailable, look for the Rangers to recall a defenseman from AHL Hartford to fill in against the Flyers on Wednesday.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Having hearing
Miller will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday for unsportsmanlike conduct on Los Angeles' Drew Doughty.
Miller was given a match penalty at the 16:37 mark of the first period in Sunday's game for spitting at Doughty. The Rangers blueliner addressed the incident Monday on Twitter, stating that it was accidental and he apologized to Doughty after the contest. Still, Miller could be handed a suspension as a result of the infraction.

Miller dished out three helpers and added four hits in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Canucks.
Miller assisted on each of New York's first three goals, helping set up Chris Kreider and Filip Chytil in the opening frame before adding another apple on Alexis Lafreniere's marker in the second. This was the first three-point game of Miller's NHL career. The 23-year-old defenseman has already set a career high with 28 points, and his contributions have come despite minimal usage on the power play -- only three of Miller's points have come with the extra man.
