Ludvig (undisclosed) was activated from injured reserve and reassigned to AHL Charlotte on Friday, per CBS Sports.
Ludvig began the season on injured reserve and hasn't appeared in a game at the NHL or AHL level yet. He should spend most of the year in the minors.

Panthers' John Ludvig: Listed as non-roster IR
Ludvig will start the year on non-roster injured reserve with an undisclosed injury, David Dwork of Local 10 Miami reports.
Ludvig evidently sustained an injury during training camp, which is why the team was forced to place him on NR-IR. Once cleared to play, the 21-year-old blueliner will no doubt be reassigned to AHL Syracuse.

Panthers' John Ludvig: Named to playoff roster
Ludvig was added to the Panthers' postseason roster Sunday.
Ludvig has yet to make his NHL debut, but he showed well in limited action with AHL Syracuse this year, posting eight points in 13 games as a rookie. The former captain of WHL Portland doesn't figure to slot into Florida's lineup unless several injuries strike the blue line.
