Flyers' Linus Sandin: Flyers terminate contract
The Flyers and Sandin mutually agreed to terminate his contract Friday, according to Bill Meltzer of NHL.com.
Sandin was on unconditional waivers Thursday and went unclaimed. He plans on returning to Sweden for personal reasons. He had one shot and no points in 6:59 of ice time in his only career NHL game in 2021-22. He also recorded eight goals and 20 points in 36 AHL contests last season.

Flyers' Linus Sandin: Back on waivers
Sandin was put on waivers Thursday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Sandin already cleared waivers Sept. 30, so it's fair to assume that he'll clear again. He's expected to play for AHL Lehigh Valley for most, if not all of the 2022-23 campaign.

The Flyers placed Sandin on waivers Friday, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.
Assuming he passes through waivers unclaimed, Sandin will be assigned to AHL Lehigh Valley. The 26-year-old Swede failed to record a point in his one appearance with the Flyers last season.

Flyers' Linus Sandin: Inks deal with Flyers
Sandin signed a one-year, two-way contract with Philadelphia on Monday.
Sandin made his NHL debut this season, logging 6:59 of ice time against the Islanders on Jan. 25. The 26-year-old scored 20 points in 36 games with AHL Lehigh Valley this season and he'll likely spend most of the 2022-23 campaign there as well.

Flyers' Linus Sandin: Reassigned to AHL Lehigh Valley
Sandin was shifted back to the minors Wednesday.
The move shouldn't come as a surprise considering the Flyers won't play again until Saturday's matchup with Los Angeles. With his reassignment, Sandin figures to get into the lineup for the Phantoms versus the Thunderbirds on Friday. After that, Sandin could once again be elevated all the way to the Philadelphia active roster in order to face the Kings.

Sandin was promoted to the active roster prior to Tuesday's matchup with the Islanders.
Sandin is poised to make his NHL debut versus New York after spending the last two years playing for AHL Lehigh Valley. Undrafted coming out of Sweden, the 25-year-old winger will almost certainly find himself back in the minors at some point this season, especially once Sean Couturier (upper body) and Kevin Hayes (lower body) return to action.

Sandin has yet to make his NHL debut after making the switch to North America ahead of the 2020-21 campaign. In 39 appearances for the Phantoms over the last two years, the 25-year-old undrafted winger has tallied 11 goals and six helpers. With the number of forwards dealing with injuries, Sandin could be pressed into action versus Dallas on Monday.
