Seminoff secured a three-year, entry-level contract from Dallas on Wednesday.
Seminoff has racked up an impressive 31 goals and 51 helpers in 62 games for WHL Kamloops this season. At 19 years of age, the winger could remain in juniors next season before making the jump to the professional ranks. Still, Seminoff's impressive offensive upside could force the Stars to fast-track his development.

Stars' Nils Lundkvist: Role reduced in March
Lundkvist has played in only seven of the Stars' 14 games in March.
Lundkvist's reduced role has come as the playoff race intensifies. The Stars clearly aren't ready to fully trust the 22-year-old in his own zone, leading to more playing time for veteran Joel Hanley while Lundkvist watches from the press box. Lundkvist hasn't helped his cause with zero points and just five shots on goal in March, though he's produced 16 points, 94 shots, 67 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 60 outings overall.

Stars' Joel Hanley: Gathers assist in win
Hanley logged an assist in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Hanley returned from a two-game stint as a healthy scratch. He rewarded head coach Pete DeBoer's decision by setting up Joe Pavelski's tip-in tally in the second period. Hanley has two helpers through nine games in March, which is all of his offense through 24 appearances this season. The 31-year-old has added 27 blocked shots, 23 hits, 15 PIM, 13 shots on net and a plus-6 rating. His veteran presence has kept him in the lineup over Nils Lundkvist as the Stars contend with the Wild and the Avalanche for positioning in the Central Division.

Stars' Jani Hakanpaa: Finds assist Tuesday

Hakanpaa had been limited to one goal over the previous seven games while also going minus-7 in that span. The 30-year-old set up Tyler Seguin for the opening tally at 5:45 of the first period Tuesday. Dellandrea had a quiet game until the third period. He set up Luke Glendening's shortie and then fought Connor Murphy late in the frame. This was Dellandrea's second straight game with an assist, though he'd gone six contests without a point prior to this burst of offense. Oettinger didn't see a lot of action Tuesday, but he's probably thankful for a lighter game given that this was his 14th appearance in the Stars' last 17 contests. He's 32-10-11 with a 2.45 GAA and a .918 save percentage in 56 outings this season. Dallas is in a fierce battle with Minnesota and Colorado for the Central Division title, so even though the Stars' playoff position is fairly secure, they might continue to lean heavily on Oettinger.

Miller improved to four goals and 18 points in 71 outings in 2022-23. Over his last five contests, he's contributed a goal and three points, which is a fairly productive stretch by his standards. His latest marker came late in the first period and proved to be the game-winner.

Wedgewood will be out of action for his 17th consecutive contest due to his lower-body injury. Even once given the all-clear, the 30-year-old backstop figures to be relegated to the No. 2 role, though it's possible Wedgewood could see a few extra starts down the stretch to give Jake Oettinger a break before the postseason.

Oettinger will guard the cage for Tuesday's road tilt versus Chicago, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports.
Oettinger will make his 10th appearance in the team's last 13 contests, having posted a 6-2-1 record and 3.52 GAA. During this stretch, the 24-year-old backstop conceded five goals on three separate occasions. Until the Stars can firmly lock up their playoff spot, Oettinger figures to continue carrying the bulk of the workload.

Wedgewood hasn't played in an NHL game since Feb. 18 against Columbus, a stretch of 16 contests on the shelf. Even when healthy, the veteran netminder has played in a mere 18 games this year, posting a 7-8-3 record with a 2.91 GAA and one shutout. Even if Wedgewood suits up versus the Blackhawks, it will likely be in a backup role behind Jake Oettinger.
