Wotherspoon logged an assist, three shots on goal and two PIM in a 5-1 win over the Panthers on Monday in Game 1 of the second round.
Wotherspoon has played in six straight games since entering the lineup for Game 3 of the first round. The helper was his first point since March 26. The 26-year-old defenseman will continue to work in a bottom-pairing role, so there's not much fantasy appeal in his game. He's earned 11 hits, 11 blocked shots, six shots on net and a plus-1 rating in the postseason after recording eight helpers, 84 hits and 67 blocks over 41 regular-season appearances.

Bruins' James van Riemsdyk: Assist streak at three games
Van Riemsdyk registered an assist, two shots on goal and four hits in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.
Van Riemsdyk has a helper in three straight contests, and he's up to four points over six playoff outings. The 35-year-old winger's continued success on offense can only help him stick in the lineup as a bottom-six forward with power-play skills. Frederic helped out on Brandon Carlo's goal late in the second period. The 26-year-old Frederic is up to four points through eight playoff contests, solid work for a player in a third-line role with virtually no power-play time. He's added 34 hits, 10 PIM and a plus-7 rating. Frederic can offer solid play as a checking forward, but consistent offense is likely too much to ask of him.

Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Contributes helper in win
Coyle logged an assist, seven hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.
Coyle set up Brandon Carlo's tally late in the second period. The 32-year-old Coyle has been a bit quiet on offense during the playoffs, though that hasn't prevented him from being a physical force in a top-six role. The center has three assists, 13 shots on net, 34 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating this postseason.

Marchand set up Jake DeBrusk for the empty-net tally to seal the Bruins' win. The 35-year-old Marchand failed to record a point over the final three games of the first round, though the Bruins totaled just four goals in that span. Carlo's day began with the birth of his son, leaving the defenseman questionable for the contest. He was able to fly to Florida and play, and he was strong in all zones, which included him scoring the back-breaking goal late in the second period to put Boston ahead 3-1. The 27-year-old blueliner has three points, 13 shots on net, 22 hits, 19 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through eight playoff contests, as well as a fun story to tell his son when he grows up.

Brazeau has points in back-to-back games while adding 17 hits, seven shots on net and a plus-2 rating. DeBrusk was able to find the empty cage to finish off Monday's tone-setting victory to begin the second round. The 27-year-old was also strong early in the first round with five points over the first three games against the Maple Leafs, but he was held off the scoresheet in the final four contests. DeBrusk typically won't have the most consistent offense, but he's in a position to succeed in a top-line role. Lohrei's top-shelf tally in the second period stood as the game-winner, and he also assisted on a Justin Brazeau goal in the third. The goal was Lohrei's first career playoff tally. Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Stellar in Game 1 win
Swayman stopped 38 of 39 shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1 of the second round.
A turnover led to the Panthers' lone goal in the second period, which was scored by Matthew Tkachuk. Swayman was otherwise stellar again, as he allowed a single goal for the fourth time in seven playoffs outings. His other three starts have seen him give up just two tallies each time. Swayman is 5-2 with a 1.42 GAA and a .955 save percentage this postseason, and he should be considered a near lock to start in Game 2 on Wednesday.

Carlo (personal) is in Monday's lineup for Game 1 against Florida, Amalie Benjamin of NHL.com reports.
Carlo tallied a goal and an assist with 16 hits and 16 blocked shots in the first round against Toronto. However, he failed to score a point in his final 16 games during the regular season. He'll skate in his usual top-four role Monday.

Swayman will guard the road goal Monday in Game 1 against Florida, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.
Swayman was excellent in the first round of the postseason against Toronto, stopping 172 of 181 shots en route to a 4-2 record. Florida ranks third in the playoffs with 4.00 goals per contest.

Head coach Jim Montgomery is "very hopeful" that Carlo will be able to join the team ahead of Monday's second-round opener.
