  • Bruins' Parker Wotherspoon: Pockets helper in Game 1 win

Wotherspoon logged an assist, three shots on goal and two PIM in a 5-1 win over the Panthers on Monday in Game 1 of the second round.

Wotherspoon has played in six straight games since entering the lineup for Game 3 of the first round. The helper was his first point since March 26. The 26-year-old defenseman will continue to work in a bottom-pairing role, so there's not much fantasy appeal in his game. He's earned 11 hits, 11 blocked shots, six shots on net and a plus-1 rating in the postseason after recording eight helpers, 84 hits and 67 blocks over 41 regular-season appearances.

  • Bruins' James van Riemsdyk: Assist streak at three games

Van Riemsdyk registered an assist, two shots on goal and four hits in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

Van Riemsdyk has a helper in three straight contests, and he's up to four points over six playoff outings. The 35-year-old winger's continued success on offense can only help him stick in the lineup as a bottom-six forward with power-play skills. In addition to his offense, he's picked up 11 hits, 10 sohts on net and a plus-3 rating this postseason.

  • Bruins' Trent Frederic: Registers helper

Frederic recorded an assist, six hits, 10 PIM and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

Frederic helped out on Brandon Carlo's goal late in the second period. The 26-year-old Frederic is up to four points through eight playoff contests, solid work for a player in a third-line role with virtually no power-play time. He's added 34 hits, 10 PIM and a plus-7 rating. Frederic can offer solid play as a checking forward, but consistent offense is likely too much to ask of him.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Contributes helper in win

Coyle logged an assist, seven hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

Coyle set up Brandon Carlo's tally late in the second period. The 32-year-old Coyle has been a bit quiet on offense during the playoffs, though that hasn't prevented him from being a physical force in a top-six role. The center has three assists, 13 shots on net, 34 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating this postseason.

  • Bruins' Brad Marchand: Sets up empty-netter

Marchand recorded an assist, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

Marchand set up Jake DeBrusk for the empty-net tally to seal the Bruins' win. The 35-year-old Marchand failed to record a point over the final three games of the first round, though the Bruins totaled just four goals in that span. The winger has three goals, six assists, 18 shots on net, 19 hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through eight playoff outings.

  • Bruins' David Pastrnak: Draws helper in Game 1

Pastrnak provided an assist, four shots on goal, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers.

Pastrnak's shot caused some chaos in front of Sergei Bobrovsky, who was able to turn it aside. Pavel Zacha then touched it over to Morgan Geekie, who ripped it in for the Bruins' first goal. Pastrnak had some big moments in the first round -- including the game-winning goal in Game 7 -- but he's been quiet by his standards with six points through eight playoff contests. The winger has added 27 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-2 rating while playing in his usual top-six role.

  • Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Dishes pair of helpers

Zacha registered two assists, two shots on goal, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

Zacha helped out on the Bruins' first two goals to flip a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead. The 27-year-old is still searching for a goal this postseason, but he's contributed four helpers over eight contests. The center has added 12 shots on net, 20 hits and a plus-1 rating while playing a strong two-way game in a top-six role.

  • Bruins' Brandon Carlo: Tallies in win

Carlo scored a goal on two shots, added six hits, blocked three shots and went plus-3 in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

Carlo's day began with the birth of his son, leaving the defenseman questionable for the contest. He was able to fly to Florida and play, and he was strong in all zones, which included him scoring the back-breaking goal late in the second period to put Boston ahead 3-1. The 27-year-old blueliner has three points, 13 shots on net, 22 hits, 19 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through eight playoff contests, as well as a fun story to tell his son when he grows up.

  • Bruins' Justin Brazeau: Scores in Game 1

Brazeau scored a goal on three shots and added three hits in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

Brazeau has points in back-to-back games while adding 17 hits, seven shots on net and a plus-2 rating. The 26-year-old winger has filled in on the third line since Danton Heinen (undisclosed) exited the lineup. Brazeau provides physicality and a little depth scoring, making him an intriguing budget option for certain DFS formats.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Nets equalizer Monday

Geekie scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

Sergei Bobrovsky poked the puck away on an initial attempt, but Geekie was able to rip home the game-tying goal just 1:07 after Matthew Tkachuk's opening tally. The goal was Geekie's second in his last three games, and the 25-year-old forward has four points through eight playoff contests. He's added 12 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-3 rating while skating in a top-six role during the postseason.

  • Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Deposits empty-netter

DeBrusk scored an empty-net goal on three shots and added four hits in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

DeBrusk was able to find the empty cage to finish off Monday's tone-setting victory to begin the second round. The 27-year-old was also strong early in the first round with five points over the first three games against the Maple Leafs, but he was held off the scoresheet in the final four contests. DeBrusk typically won't have the most consistent offense, but he's in a position to succeed in a top-line role. The winger has added 32 hits, 19 shots on net and a minus-3 rating over eight playoff outings.

  • Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Two points in win

Lohrei scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, went plus-2, logged four hits and blocked two shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

Lohrei's top-shelf tally in the second period stood as the game-winner, and he also assisted on a Justin Brazeau goal in the third. The goal was Lohrei's first career playoff tally. He has three points, nine shots on net, eight hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over six postseason appearances while filling a bottom-four role.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Stellar in Game 1 win

Swayman stopped 38 of 39 shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1 of the second round.

A turnover led to the Panthers' lone goal in the second period, which was scored by Matthew Tkachuk. Swayman was otherwise stellar again, as he allowed a single goal for the fourth time in seven playoffs outings. His other three starts have seen him give up just two tallies each time. Swayman is 5-2 with a 1.42 GAA and a .955 save percentage this postseason, and he should be considered a near lock to start in Game 2 on Wednesday.

Heinen (undisclosed) won't be in the lineup for Game 1 versus Florida on Monday, according to Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald.

  • Bruins' Brandon Carlo: Game-time decision

Carlo (personal) will be a game-time decision for Game 1 versus Florida on Monday.

Head coach Jim Montgomery is "very hopeful" that Carlo will be able to join the team ahead of Monday's second-round opener. The 27-year-old blueliner was with his wife, Mayson, to welcome their baby boy, Crew, into the world Monday morning. Carlo has one goal, one assist, 11 shots on net, 16 blocked shots and 16 hits in seven outings this postseason. If Carlo is unavailable to play in Monday's contest, Derek Forbort could be in the lineup for the first time since March 2 after recovering from an undisclosed injury.
