Mariners' Mitch Haniger: Enjoys big game at dish
Haniger went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, three total RBI and two total runs Monday in a 9-3 win over the Reds.
Haniger batted cleanup as the Mariners' DH and drilled a two-run homer in the third inning along with a run-scoring double in the seventh. The slugger extended his hitting streak to six games, though this was his first multi-hit effort during that stretch. Haniger appears to be fully healthy this year following two straight injury-plagued campaigns, and he's had good results at the plate thus far, slashing .286/.375/.500 with three homers, 11 RBI and nine runs through 64 plate appearances.

Mariners' Mitch Haniger: Slugs second homer Tuesday
Haniger went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in a loss to the Blue Jays on Tuesday.
Haniger was one of the few bright spots in another disappointing night for the Mariners, getting Seattle to within two runs in the eighth inning with a 359-shot to left field with Julio Rodriguez aboard. Haniger's round tripper was his first since Opening Day, and it also marked his first extra-base hit in the last five games.

Mariners' Mitch Haniger: Gets first day off of 2024
Haniger is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.
Haniger will take a seat for the first time this season after he had started in each of the Mariners' first nine games while hitting .290 with one home run, four RBI and four runs. According to Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times, the oft-injured Haniger is fully healthy at the moment and will be available to pinch hit Sunday, so his absence from the lineup is strictly for maintenance purposes. The Mariners hope to have him available to start in all three games of their series in Toronto to begin the upcoming week.
