The Marlins outrighted Lindgren to Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports. Lindgren gave up four runs over seven innings across three appearances with Miami in 2023, and he'll return to the minors as the Marlins clear space on their 40-man roster. The 26-year-old righty posted a 4.88 ERA and 1.39 WHIP through 86.2 innings with Jacksonvile last season.... See More ... See Less

Marlins' Jeff Lindgren: Up from Triple-A
The Marlins selected Lindgren's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports. Lindgren has put up a 4.29 ERA and 1.33 WHIP across 21 innings with Jacksonville since being sent outright to Triple-A. With Eury Perez (hip) on the injured list, he'll return to the big leagues to give the Marlins another piece in the bullpen who is capable of pitching multiple innings.... See More ... See Less -
Marlins' Jeff Lindgren: Outrighted to Triple-A
Lindgren cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday. It's the second time this season that Lindgren has been outrighted off the Marlins' 40-man roster, which means he had the ability to elect free agency if he wanted. However, it would appear that he'll remain in the organization as rotation and long relief depth.... See More ... See Less -
Marlins' Jeff Lindgren: DFA'd by Fish
The Marlins designated Lindgren for assignment Friday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports. The Marlins selected Lindgren from Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday, and he's thrown two scoreless frames since returning to the majors. However, he'll be kicked off Miami's 40-man roster to make room for Robert Garcia, who was selected from Jacksonville on Friday. Lindgren holds a 4.55 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in the minors this season and could have a decent chance at being claimed by another team.... See More ... See Less -
Marlins' Jeff Lindgren: Headed back to big leagues
The Marlins selected Lindgren's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday. Lindgren is set to begin his third stint of the season with the big club, after he previously worked five innings while giving up four earned runs between his first two stays with Miami. Since heading back to Jacksonville, Lindgren has been serving as a regular starter and owns a 4.55 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 46:30 K:BB in 61.1 innings on the season. Unless Miami opts to move Bryan Hoeing to the bullpen or skips rookie Eury Perez's next turn through the rotation, Lindgren looks as though he'll operate as a long-relief option for the Marlins.... Marlins' Jeff Lindgren: Outrighted to Triple-A

Marlins' Jeff Lindgren: Returned to Triple-A
The Marlins returned Lindgren to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday. Miami promoted Lindgren from Triple-A on Saturday to serve as the club's 27th man for a doubleheader versus the Guardians. He went unused out of the bullpen for either contest while the Marlins received decent length from their two starters, but now that he's back on the 40-man roster, Lindgren may not have to wait long for another call-up.... Marlins' Jeff Lindgren: Receives call-up
The Marlins selected Lindgren's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville ahead of Saturday's doubleheader with the Guardians. Miami is designating Lindgren as its 27th man for the doubleheader in Cleveland, so he'll presumably be sent back to Triple-A immediately following the twin bill. Devin Smeltzer is making a spot start in Game 1 but is just three days removed from making a 23-pitch relief appearance, so he'll likely be in line for a limited workload. Lindgren, who most recently covered five frames in a start for Jacksonville on April 15, could be the top option to eat innings once Smeltzer exits the game.... See More ... See Less -
Marlins' Jeff Lindgren: Unclaimed on waivers
Lindgren was outrighted to Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday, per the MLB Transaction log. Lindgren was designated for assignment Tuesday but went unclaimed on waivers. He made his MLB debut Monday and allowed four earned runs across five innings.... See More ... See Less -
Marlins' Jeff Lindgren: Added to roster
The Marlins selected Lindgren's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Heraldreports. Lindgren will give the Marlins' bullpen some protection with their starters having not pitched deep into games in the early going. The 26-year-old held a 4.21 ERA and 116:53 K:BB over 136.2 innings between Double-A Pensacola and Triple-A Jacksonville last season. He'll be making his major-league debut when he enters a game....
