Rangers' Justin Foscue: Moved to 60-day IL
The Rangers transferred Foscue (oblique) to the 60-day injured list Satuday, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.
The Rangers selected Austin Pruitt's contract from Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday to make up for the loss of Brock Burke (hand), so Foscue will move to the 60-day IL in order to clear space on the 40-man roster. The 25-year-old infielder has only been on the injured list since Monday, so he won't be eligible to return until June 7.

Rangers' Justin Foscue: Lands on 10-day IL
Foscue was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday with a left oblique strain.
Foscue made his big-league debut just a few days earlier against Houston, so it's unclear as to when he suffered the injury. The Rangers selected Davis Wendzel's contract from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move.

Rangers' Justin Foscue: Makes MLB debut
Foscue entered Friday's game in the eighth inning and went 0-for-1 in a 10-2 win over Houston.
Foscue made his MLB debut late in the blowout, taking over at second base. He was called up from Triple-A Round Rock to help fill the void created by Josh Jung's wrist injury. Foscue, who came up as a second baseman, can also play third and first base.

Rangers' Justin Foscue: Officially called up
The Rangers called up Foscue from Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.comreports.
The 24-year-old missed out on Texas' Opening Day roster but will join the club less than a week into the regular season since Josh Jung is headed to the injured list with a fractured wrist. Foscue isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Tampa Bay but should soon make his MLB debut, and he could be in store for at least semi-regular playing time in the corner infield spots with Jung and Nathaniel Lowe (oblique) sidelined.

Rangers' Justin Foscue: Poised for promotion
The Rangers will call up Foscue prior to Tuesday's game against the Rays, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Foscue nearly made the team out of spring training and will receive an early promotion as a replacement for Josh Jung (wrist). The 25-year-old can handle first base, second base and third base and should receive fairly regular playing time in the corner infield spots with both Jung and Nathaniel Lowe (oblique) on the shelf. Foscue slashed .266/.394/.468 with 18 home runs, 14 steals and a 70:85 K:BB over 122 games with Triple-A Round Rock last season.

Rangers' Justin Foscue: Sent to Triple-A
Foscue was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Monday, Michael Bier of Foul Terrirory reports.
Foscue went 12-for-46 with one homer, six RBI and six runs scored over 20 spring training appearances, but his performance wasn't enough to secure a roster spot. He'll likely be in the mix for a promotion later on this season.

Rangers' Justin Foscue: May not have edge at first base
Foscue may not have the edge to fill in at first base while Nathaniel Lowe (oblique) is on the injured list, according to Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com.
Wilson reported the Rangers' preference at first base is to have Ezequiel Duran and Jared Walsh platoon as a replacement for Lowe. For that to happen, shortstop Corey Seager (groin) would need be ready by Opening Day, freeing Duran to play first base. Foscue, who was projected to start at first base in the latest roster projection compiled by Kennedi Landry of MLB.com, would be on the bubble. Designated hitter is a possibility, but Wyatt Langford appears to have the edge for that job.
