Lopez logged 18 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 44 minutes during Wednesday's 128-126 overtime loss to the Heat in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Lopez was forced to embrace a bigger role on offense -- while being his usual dominating self on defense -- due to the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo in Game 2 and Game 3, and the big man responded by stepping his game up. Unfortunately, his efforts were not enough, and the Bucks suffered a shocking first-round exit despite ending the regular season with the best record in the league. Lopez averaged 19.0 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game during the series.... See More ... See Less

Bucks' Brook Lopez: Vintage performance in loss
Lopez provided 36 points (13-23 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds, three blocks and two steals across 39 minutes during Monday's 119-114 loss to the Heat in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Lopez turned in arguably his best game of the season, leading the Bucks with 36 points to go with five combined steals and blocks. Both he and the returning Giannis Antetokounmpo did everything they could to get the victory, ultimately coming up short. The series now heads back to Milwaukee, where the Bucks will need to win to stay alive in the playoffs.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Falls flat in Game 3 loss
Lopez contributed six points (3-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 30 minutes during Saturday's 121-99 loss to the Heat in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Lopez struggled offensively Saturday after scoring 25 points in Milwaukee's Game 2 win. However, the veteran center still made an impact defensively and finished with at least one tally in each defensive category for a third straight contest. Over the first three games of the opening-round series, Lopez has averaged 13.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 steals in 33.3 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Dominates paint
Lopez logged 25 points (12-17 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals across 34 minutes during Wednesday's 138-122 win over the Heat in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Lopez led the way for the Bucks Wednesday night in the blowout win with teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo (back) sidelined. The veteran center missed only five shots, which led to a team-high 25 points, with 14 coming in the first quarter. The Heat had no answer for Lopez, as 24 of his points were scored in the painted area.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: No limitations ahead of playoffs
Lopez (rest) was a full participant during Tuesday's practice, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Lopez missed back-to-back games to end the regular season due to rest purposes, but as expected, he's full go ahead of the playoffs. Across 78 appearances, the Defensive Player of the Year candidate averaged 15.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and a career-best 2.5 blocks in 30.4 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Another rest day on tap Sunday
Lopez (rest) will not play in Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Raptors. Lopez will skip the final two games of the Bucks' regular season to rest up for the team's impending playoff run. He joins a gaggle of Bucks who will get the night off, leaving numerous reserve players to pick up some additional run Sunday. Lopez finishes the regular season averaging 15.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 3.0 blocks-plus steals over 30.4 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Resting with 1-seed locked up
Lopez (rest) will not play Friday against Memphis. The big man will get a well-deserved night off after helping the Bucks lock up the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference on Wednesday night against Chicago. The Bucks will also hold out Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Khris Middleton (knee) and Jrue Holiday (rest) on Friday, and that could again be the case for Sunday's regular-season finale at Toronto.... Bucks' Brook Lopez: Game wrecker in win
Lopez closed with 20 points (8-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt), one assist, five blocks and one steal in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 140-128 victory over the Wizards. Lopez dominated in his typical efficient fashion while locking down the paint. Lopez entered the contest in a 6 of 27 slump from three but broke out in a big way Tuesday and looked confident in doing so.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Double-double against Detroit
Lopez racked up 24 points (8-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 35 minutes during Monday's 126-117 win over Detroit. The veteran center collected his 11th double-double of the season, with four of them coming in his last nine games. Lopez has also recorded at least one block in 12 straight contests, averaging 3.3 rejections a game over that stretch.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Blocks seven shots versus Jazz
Lopez totaled 17 points (8-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 14 rebounds, two assists and seven blocks over 26 minutes during Friday's 144-116 victory over the Jazz. This was the third-highest rebounding total for Lopez this season, and it was also his second-highest block total of the campaign. The Bucks took care of business early in Friday's game, so Lopez saw only 26 minutes. That means he should be relatively fresh for the second leg of their back-to-back set Saturday against Denver.... Bucks' Brook Lopez: Erupts for 26 points in win
Lopez finished with 26 points (9-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 31 minutes in Sunday's 118-111 win over the Raptors. On a night in which Milwaukee had all of its regular starters available, Lopez finished as the Bucks' surprise scoring leader, inching out both Giannis Antetokounmpo (22 points) and Khris Middleton (20 points). Even though Lopez has been on somewhat of an offensive spree to begin March -- he's averaging 22.0 points on 58.3 percent shooting from the field and 42.6 percent from three-point range through nine outings -- the veteran center will likely settle into more of a secondary role behind Antetokounmpo, Middleton and perhaps even Jrue Holiday once his red-hot efficiency inevitably drops off a bit. Even if his offensive production cools, Lopez should still be a useful lineup option for fantasy managers thanks to his immense production as a shot blocker.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Available Sunday
Lopez (ankle) is available Sunday against the Raptors. Lopez sat out Thursday against the Pacers due to left ankle soreness, but he was probable ahead of Sunday's matchup and has officially been cleared to return. He's posted double-doubles in two of his last four appearances, averaging 21.8 points and 8.8 rebounds in 36.3 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Probable for Sunday
Lopez (ankle) has been upgraded to probable ahead of Sunday's game against the Raptors. This is clearly a step in the right direction for Lopez, who missed Thursday's game against the Pacers due to left ankle soreness. Lopez has been playing well of late and has posted a double-double in two of his last four appearances, averaging 21.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 4.5 blocks in 36.3 minutes per game over that span.... Bucks' Brook Lopez: Ruled out Thursday
Lopez (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Indiana, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. Lopez has posted a double-double in two of his last four appearances, averaging 21.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 4.5 blocks in 36.3 minutes per game. However, he'll sit due to his sore left ankle Thursday, which should lead to increased playing time for Bobby Portis.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Questionable Thursday
Lopez is questionable for Thursday's game against the Pacers due to left ankle soreness. Lopez has posted double-doubles in two of his last four appearances and has averaged 21.8 points and 8.8 rebounds in 36.3 minutes per game during that time. If he's sidelined against Indiana, Bobby Portis should see increased run.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Double-doubles in victory
Lopez finished Tuesday's 116-104 win over Phoenix with 21 points (10-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 10 rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block across 34 minutes. Lopez avoided a suspension for his dustup with Trey Lyles that led to both players' ejections Monday in the Bucks' win over the Kings, and the Milwaukee center was able to come through with an excellent line in the second leg of the back-to-back set. The 34-year-old has put together a productive March thus far, averaging 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.1 blocks and 2.4 treys while shooting 58.1 percent from the field over eight games on the month.... Bucks' Brook Lopez: Tossed late in fourth quarter
Lopez was ejected from Monday's game against the Kings after being assessed a fighting foul, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports. He recorded 23 points (9-14 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and three blocks in 37 minutes. Lopez and Trey Lyles were in the middle of a scuffle following a hard foul on Giannis Antetokounmpo, but the game was already well in hand at this point. Lopez continues to play at a high level on both ends of the court and has scored 20-plus points in three of his last four contests while also swatting away at least three shots in each of these matchups.... Bucks' Brook Lopez: Another big defensive effort
Lopez ended with 19 points (8-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, five blocks, one assist and one steal across 38 minutes during Saturday's 125-116 overtime loss to the Warriors. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (hand) missing his third straight game, the Bucks put together a balanced attack that featured seven players with double-digit scoring. Lopez tied for the team lead with 19 points, but his best work was again on the defensive end of the court, where he swatted five shots. That followed a nine-block effort his last time out, and Lopez has now swatted at least three shots in four straight games. He's been thriving for nearly a month, averaging 21.3 points, 7.5 boards, 2.1 three-pointers and 3.1 blocks over his past 10 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Swats career-high nine shots
Lopez finished Thursday's 118-113 victory over the Nets with 24 points (10-20 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, nine blocks and one steal over 36 minutes. Lopez came up one block short of posting what would've been the first triple-double with points, rebounds and blocks since Anthony Davis accomplished that feat in 2018. The big man continues to have an excellent season and is averaging 15.2 points, his highest mark since the 2016-17 campaign, with 6.6 rebounds and a career-high 2.5 blocks per contest. Lopez is also on a run of nine straight games with double-digit scoring figures, a span in which he's averaged 21.6 points per game.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Brook Lopez: Leads offense in 26-point outing
Lopez provided 26 points (9-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-9 FT), six rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 134-123 win over the Magic. Lopez led all Bucks players in scoring and blocks while finishing four rebounds shy of a double-double in Tuesday's win. Lopez has scored 25 or more points on six occasions this season, including in two of his last three outings.... See More ... See Less
