  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Big defensive night in return

Drummond closed with six points (3-4 FG), 11 rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 14 minutes during Friday's 121-91 victory over the Hornets. After missing the Bulls' last game for personal reasons, Drummond played just under 14 minutes but still managed to put up double-digit rebounds while adding two steals and a block in his short time on the court. The 29-year-old center doesn't score a ton, but he gives fantasy managers great numbers whenever he gets enough opportunity, particularly in the rebounding and blocks categories. It's been difficult to predict when that occurs from game to game, but he has reached 12-plus minutes in each of his last five appearances.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Good to go

Drummond (personal) is available for Friday's game against the Hornets, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports. Drummond wasn't with the team for Wednesday's loss to the Lakers due to personal reasons, but he was back with the team for Friday's morning shootaround and is cleared to suit up versus Charlotte. Before his absence, the veteran big man scored in double figures in three of his last four appearances, posting 9.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in 15.5 minutes during that span.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Participates in shootaround

Drummond (personal) participated in Friday's shootaround, Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune reports. Drummond was unavailable Wednesday against the Lakers due to personal reasons but is trending in the right direction ahead of Friday's tipoff. He's scored in double figures in three of his last four appearances, averaging 9.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in 15.5 minutes per game over that stretch.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Questionable against Charlotte

Drummond (personal) is questionable for Friday's game versus the Hornets. Drummond could miss his second straight game Friday due to personal reasons. If he doesn't suit up against Charlotte, his next chance to do so will be Sunday's matchup with Memphis.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Won't play Wednesday

Drummond (personal) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Lakers, Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Drummond will miss his first game since Jan. 28 due to personal reasons. In his absence, the Bulls are thin at center options behind Nikola Vucevic, so Derrick Jones and Patrick Williams could see increased run if Chicago opts for smaller lineups when Vucevic is off the floor.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: May not be available Wednesday

Drummond is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers due to personal reasons. Drummond has been productive of late, posting 9.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in 15.5 minutes over the past four games, but his availability for Wednesday is up in the air. If the veteran big man is sidelined, more minutes would be available for Derrick Jones and Patrick Williams, but the Bulls may also elevate Terry Taylor or Marko Simonovic from the G League for added frontcourt depth behind Nikola Vucevic.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Gets added playing time in blowout

Drummond chipped in 13 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, two blocks and one assist over 17 minutes during Wednesday's 116-91 loss to Philadelphia. Drummond delivered an efficient double-double in a matchup with one of his former teams, but it's difficult to put too much stock in his stat line, given that the 76ers raced out to a 28-point halftime lead that resulted in lower minutes for all of the Bulls' starters aside from Zach LaVine. The veteran center hadn't exceeded 14 minutes in any of Chicago's previous seven contests and was limited to six- and seven-minute workloads in the prior two games leading up to Wednesday, so it's best to view Drummond's outing versus Philadelphia as an outlier rather than one that he'll be able to frequently replicate.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Scores 11 points off bench

Drummond amassed 11 points (4-4 FG, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and one steal over 14 minutes during Saturday's 119-111 win over the Rockets. Drummond was perfect from the field and scored in double figures for the first time since Feb. 24. The veteran big man's role remains too limited for consideration in most fantasy leagues, but he's certainly capable of solid performances provided the right matchup.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Top rebounder off bench

Drummond logged six points (2-4 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one block over 16 minutes during Tuesday's 104-98 loss to Toronto. Drummond led Chicago in rebounds while finishing four points short of tallying a double-double in a team-low minute total. Drummond has hauled in 10 or more rebounds 13 times this year, including in two of his last three games.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Grabs seven boards Monday

Drummond logged six points (3-4 FG) and seven rebounds in 14 minutes during Monday's 100-91 loss to the Magic. Drummond continues to be a sneaky source of rebounds off the wire, grabbing at least five boards for the ninth straight game. Unfortunately, he offers very little else in terms of fantasy production, making him nothing more than a streaming candidate. His playing time remains modest to say the least, as he's played fewer than 15 minutes in eight of those nine games.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Limited impact Tuesday

Drummond logged three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals across 13 minutes during Tuesday's 104-89 loss to the Grizzlies. Drummond was coming off an excellent showing Monday against the Spurs while logging 20-plus minutes, which has been odd for him this season, but he reverted to the minimal role he's had all season long in the second half of a back-to-back set. The veteran big man is capable of providing value when the minutes are there, but he'll likely need the Bulls to move Nikola Vucevic before Thursday's deadline in order to be a regular fantasy difference-maker down the stretch.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Dominates off bench Monday

Drummond notched 21 points (9-9 FG, 3-4 FT), 15 rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block across 21 minutes during Monday's 128-104 victory over San Antonio. Throughout his career, Drummond has shown the ability to grab rebounds at a prolific clip while contributing in the defensive categories when given meaningful minutes, but those opportunities have been scarce thus far during his first season in Chicago. Even though starting center Nikola Vucevic was healthy Tuesday, head coach Billy Donovan opted to limit him to 24 minutes and leaned more heavily on Drummond, who roasted the hapless Spurs to finish plus-30 during his time on the court. After he had been largely outside of the rotation since the calendar flipped to 2023, Drummond has now logged double-digit minutes in three straight games, averaging 14.3 points and 10.3 rebounds while shooting 81.8 percent from the field in 16.3 minutes per contest over that stretch. Drummond could stick around that level of playing time while his main competition for minutes, Derrick Jones, sees more run as a backup forward, but don't expect the veteran center to maintain the level of efficiency or collect rebounds quite as prolifically as he has over the past three games.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Non-existent role continues

Drummond had two points (2-4 FT) and five rebounds across four minutes during Tuesday's 108-103 loss to the Clippers. Drummond played just four minutes in the loss, only the third time he has seen the floor in the past eight games. At this point, he has basically been phased out of the league, at least from a viability perspective. He can be used for streaming purposes when afforded additional playing time. That is happening less and less as we move forward.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Drops four points in three minutes

Drummond racked up four points (2-2 FG) and one rebound over three minutes during Monday's 111-100 win over the Hawks. Drummond continues to be on the outside looking in when it comes to playing time, playing fewer than 15 minutes in 11 consecutive games. Despite being able to put up fantasy value, even in limited minutes, his on-court flaws basically rule him out when it comes to even a minimal role. He is worth keeping an eye on just in case injuries to other players clear a path for him, something that seems unlikely at this stage.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Ready to roll vs. Nets

Drummond (shoulder) is available for Wednesday's game against the Nets. The big man is dealing with a sprain in his left shoulder, but he was probable coming into the day, so his availability was never much of a concern. Drummond is averaging only 12.4 minutes per game over his last 15 appearances, rendering him an afterthought in most fantasy leagues.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Probable Wednesday

Drummond is considered probable for Wednesday's game versus the Nets despite a left acromioclavicular sprain. In layman's terms, Drummond should be available against the Nets despite a sprained joint in his left shoulder. The big man has missed just one game all season and had logged double-digit minutes in six straight prior to Monday's contest. Barring a downgrade in his status over the next 24 hours, expect Drummond to maintain his bench frontcourt role.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Big time flop in loss Saturday

Drummond closed Saturday's 103-102 loss to the Cavaliers with two points (1-1 FG), one rebound and one block over 13 minutes. Drummond played as the backup center again Saturday but was basically invisible. A recent ankle injury to Derrick Jones opened the door for Drummond to take back the secondary role. While Jones was available to play Saturday, he remained fixed to the bench. Drummond maintained his role but based on this effort, that may not last very long. Despite some limited streaming appeal, Drummond can be safely ignored in standard formats.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Snags 13 boards

Drummond logged seven points (2-3 FG, 3-4 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 16 minutes during Wednesday's 119-113 overtime victory over Milwaukee. Drummond turned in his best rebounding performance since Oct. 28, when he collected 14 rebounds in San Antonio. The big man has finished with a double-digit rebounding total in two of his last four contests, and he's also recorded a steal in back-to-back appearances. With one game remaining in December, he's averaged 4.8 points and 5.9 rebounds in 12.6 minutes through 12 appearances this month.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Pulls down 11 boards Wednesday

Drummond notched five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 FT) and 11 rebounds over 15 minutes during Wednesday's 110-108 victory over the Hawks. Drummond grabbed seven of his 11 rebounds in 10 first-half minutes. He recorded double-digit rebounds in seven of his first 14 contests this year, but Wednesday was his first time hauling in 10 or more rebounds in his last 10 games. Through 24 contests, he's averaging 6.1 points and 7.0 rebounds in 13.6 minutes per game.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Nabs season-high five steals

Drummond played 16 minutes off the bench and finished with 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds and five steals in Sunday's 123-122 overtime loss to the Hawks. Though Drummond's days as a full-time NBA starting center appear to be over, the 29-year-old remains an excellent fantasy producer on a per-minute basis. Unfortunately, Drummond's lack of shooting, high turnover rate and limitations on the defensive end against smaller lineups make him far less valuable from a real-life standpoint, making it unlikely that he cuts into starter Nikola Vucevic's minutes in any significant way. While Vucevic is healthy, Drummond likely won't be worth holding outside of deeper leagues, though he can have some utility as a streamer for rebounds in shallower leagues.
