Nuggets' Kennedy Meeks: Flirts with double-double
Meeks posted nine points (3-8 FG, 3-3 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and a steal across 17 minutes during Friday's 83-71 summer league loss to the Timberwolves.
In addition to nearly securing a double-double, Meeks led the Nuggets in rebounding Friday, which included an impressive five offensive boards. Undrafted out of North Carolina in 2017, the 6-foot-10, 277-pound forward spent last season in the G-League with the Raptors 905. There, he started 38 of his 45 appearances, averaging 12.8 points and 9.5 rebounds while shooting just over 50 percent from the field. Though he's only seen limited action in summer league, he's put up some quality numbers. Across 71 minutes, he's posted 28 points and 28 rebounds

Kennedy Meeks: Double-double Tuesday
Meeks recorded 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists and one block during Tuesday's loss at Windy City.
The rookie from North Carolina has been a consistent scorer in double-figures and Tuesday was no different. In addition, Meeks has been able to rebound the ball at a high rate, allowing himself to produce double-doubles regularly. The 23-year-old is averaging a superb 12.2 points and 9.3 rebounds this season.

Kennedy Meeks: Waived by Raptors
Meeks was waived by the Raptors on Saturday.
This isn't extremely surprising, seeing as Meeks played just three minutes across three preseason games with the Raptors, missing the only shot he took while collecting a rebound and a steal. He'll look to catch on elsewhere, but his lack of athleticism coupled with his inability to stretch the floor may limit his options.
