Anderson logged 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four rebounds, six assists, three blocks and two steals over 31 minutes during Friday's 123-111 loss to the Lakers. Anderson entered Friday's contest as questionable to play due to an illness, but he was able to take the court and log 31 minutes. Though he came off the bench for the second straight game, Anderson was one of the most productive Timberwolves in the loss, finishing third on the team in scoring and second in assists while adding four boards, three blocks and two steals. Anderson was very efficient with an 8-for-11 mark from the field, and he's made at least half of his field-goal tries in five of his past six contests.... See More ... See Less

Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Active versus Lakers
Anderson (illness) is available for Friday's game against the Lakers. Anderson has been upgraded from probable to available Friday with a non-COVID illness. He is averaging 10.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.6 steals in 33.6 minutes across his last five outings.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Probable Friday
Anderson (illness) is probable for Friday's game against the Lakers. The Timberwolves have caught a bug, as Anderson is one of five players listed on the injury report due to illness. However, he's expected to play and will presumably come off the bench. Despite Anderson acting as a reserve, fantasy managers should expect him to see around 30 minutes, and he's proven to be valuable even with the return of Karl-Anthony Towns (calf).... See More ... Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Available to play
Anderson (illness) will be available to play Wednesday against the Suns. Anderson is feeling a bit under the weather, but he'll gut it out and get out there for Wednesday's game. He will return to the second unit with Karl-Anthony Towns back in action, but he should still see quality minutes with Taurean Prince (illness) and Jaylen Nowell (knee) unavailable.... See More ... Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Late addition to injury report
Anderson is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Suns due to an illness. Anderson has been excellent in March, posting 12.2 points, 7.8 assists, 6.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks across 12 appearances (11 starts), but he's in danger of missing his first contest since Feb. 8. With Jaylen Nowell (knee) and Taurean Prince (illness) both questionable as well, Minnesota could be extremely light at forward against the Suns, who are expected to have Kevin Durant (ankle) back.... Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Double-doubles in win
Anderson ended Monday's 119-115 win over the Kings with 15 points (5-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, 11 assists and two steals across 36 minutes. Anderson drew the start with Karl-Anthony Towns (rest) unavailable for the second half of a back-to-back set. Monday's performance marked the fourth time Anderson has dished out at least 11 assists this month, and across 12 March appearances, he's averaged 12.2 points, 7.8 assists, 6.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks in 36.0 minutes per game.... Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Back with first unit
Anderson is starting Monday's game against the Kings. Anderson has started 14 of his team's last 15 contests, and he'll return to the starting five Monday after coming off the bench Sunday at Golden State. The UCLA product is averaging 11.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.9 assists in his last 14 appearances as a starter.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Records double-double from bench
Anderson logged 12 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists, one block and five steals over 32 minutes during Sunday's 99-96 victory over the Warriors. Anderson's role was set to be diminished by Karl-Anthony Towns' return, but he was the first man up with the second unit and turned in 32 minutes in a reserve role. Sunday marked Anderson's ninth double-double of the season, and he also collected a season-high five steals in the win. His excellent secondary numbers throughout the season have padded his fantasy totals when his shot volume is low, and he should continue producing despite the demotion.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Coming off bench Sunday
Anderson isn't starting Sunday against the Warriors. Anderson has served mainly as a starter over the last several months, and he's posted double-doubles in three of his last seven appearances. During that time, he's averaged 12.3 points, 8.6 assists and 7.6 rebounds in 37.9 minutes per game. He'll retreat to the bench with both Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards available Sunday, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Anderson maintain considerable playing time against Golden State.... Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Posts another triple-double
Anderson chipped in 11 points (4-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 10 rebounds, 12 assists, two blocks and one steal over 51 minutes during Friday's 139-131 double-overtime loss to the Bulls. Anderson now has four career triple-doubles, and this was his third of the season. He has really stepped up in the playmaking department, dishing out a total of 43 assists over his last four games. If Anthony Edwards has to miss time due to an ankle sprain, Anderson is going to have his hands full in this offense, and he certainly looks up to the challenge.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Stuffs stat sheet once again
Anderson ended with 15 points (7-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight assists, seven rebounds and two blocks across 36 minutes before getting ejected from Wednesday's 104-102 loss to the Celtics. Anderson was coming off a triple-double in Monday's win over the Hawks. Although he couldn't quite repeat that feat, he once again posted a line demonstrating he's worthy of rostering in nearly every fantasy league. He's averaging 12.8 points, 7.7 assists, 6.5 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, 1.0 steals and 0.8 three-pointers per game across six March appearances while shooting 60.4 percent from the field.... See More ... Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Secures triple-double in win
Anderson ended Monday's 136-115 victory over the Hawks with 14 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 12 assists, 10 rebounds, two blocks and two steals across 37 minutes. Anderson was the only starter to play in the final minute, which is when he grabbed his 10th rebound to secure his second triple-double of the season. The 29-year-old typically brings a little bit of everything to the table, and though he doesn't deliver eye-popping production in any one area, he's been performing as a top-60 player on a per-game basis in nine-category formats over the last two weeks.... Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Flirts with triple-double in loss
Anderson finished Friday's 124-123 overtime loss to the Nets with 15 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt), seven rebounds, 11 assists and one steal in 39 minutes. Anderson cobbled together another strong performance Friday, falling just three rebounds short of a triple-double. Since entering the starting lineup, he has been a revelation, putting up top-60 value over the past two months. While he offers minimal upside in scoring, his ability to contribute across multiple categories makes him a must-roster player in all fantasy formats.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Records double-double in victory
Anderson finished with 12 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals over 26 minutes during Tuesday's 108-101 win over the Clippers. Anderson continues to distinguish himself as a valuable contributor during Karl-Anthony Towns' (calf) extended absence. While Anderson suffers from a low shot volume occasionally, his numbers off the glass have been consistent. He caps off the month of February with an average of 6.2 rebounds per game over nine contests.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Hands out eight assists in loss
Anderson recorded 18 points (7-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 31 minutes during Thursday's 114-106 loss to the Wizards. Anderson stepped his game up and was one of the top contributors for the Timberwolves in this loss, and he ended just two assists shy from a double-double while also posting his third-best mark of the season in that category. A back problem of late has limited Anderson, but he's managed to play in the Timberwolves' last three games while scoring in double digits each time. The All-Star break could be what he needs to get healthy for the stretch run of the regular season.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Set to start against Washington
Anderson (back) is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game versus the Wizards. Anderson has been upgraded from questionable to available Thursday despite back spasms. He will replace Taurean Prince in the starting five.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Questionable vs. Wizards
Anderson (back) is questionable for Thursday's matchup against the Wizards. Anderson remains bothered by back spasms, though he appeared in the Wolves' prior two games and totaled 24 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one block in 41 minutes. If the veteran sits out the final game before the All-Star break, bigger roles could be in store for Taurean Prince, Jaylen Nowell and Jaden McDaniels.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Contributes in bench role
Anderson closed with 12 points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals in 24 minutes during Monday's 124-121 win over the Mavericks. Anderson notably came off the bench for the first time since Dec. 3, but he was still able to make an impact and led bench scorers with 12 points. He also made his mark on the defensive end by notching a pair of steals, marking his third straight contest with at least one. The Timberwolves will likely continue to monitor Anderson closely after he recently missed two games with a back issue, though it was reassuring to see him log 20-plus minutes for the first time in nearly two weeks.... Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Coming off bench Monday
Anderson (back) is available but won't start Monday versus Dallas, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports. Anderson will continue to push through the pain with his back issue, but he's a risky fantasy target for this one, as he hasn't exceeded the 20-minute mark in his past two games. Taurean Prince draws the start at power forward with the Timberwolves expected to monitor Anderson's minutes closely.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Iffy for Monday
Anderson (back) is questionable for Monday's game at Dallas. Anderson missed a pair of games last week due to back spasms but was able to return for Friday's loss to the Grizzlies. He's apparently still dealing with some after-effects, so the Wolves will keep an eye on his status as they head into a two-game week ahead of the All-Star break. Anderson finished Friday's game with 12 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal in 17 minutes.... See More ... See Less
