  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Stays hot despite loss

Robinson had 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt), one rebound and two assists across 20 minutes during Saturday's 104-103 loss to Boston in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. After hardly playing in Game 1, Robinson has averaged 14.0 points on 50 percent shooting from deep over the past five matchups. He failed to connect on a couple of wide-open chances to give Miami the lead late in the fourth quarter, but he's still been a solid offensive weapon for the Heat this series and figures to have a sizable bench role during Game 7 on Monday.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Drills five from deep in win

Robinson closed with 22 points (7-11 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes during Sunday's 128-102 victory over the Celtics in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Robinson followed up an impressive 15-point effort in Game 2 with his highest point total of the season. The sharpshooter was in full command of his three-point stroke at the perimeter, nailing five of seven attempts beyond the arc. He finished the game as Miami's second-highest scorer behind Gabe Vincent.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Lights it up from deep off bench

Robinson closed Wednesday's 112-103 loss to the Knicks in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with 17 points (6-13 FG, 5-10 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and two steals in 22 minutes. Robinson was a spark off the Heat bench in Wednesday's Game 5 loss, leading the team in threes made while posting a bench-leading scoring total in just 22 minutes. Robinson posted his highest point total of the series, surpassing the double-digit mark for the first time this round.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Logs 30 minutes in win

Robinson registered nine points (3-5 FG, 3-4 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal over 30 minutes during Monday's 119-114 victory over Milwaukee in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Robinson played a sizeable role in the win, taking advantage of the fact Tyler Herro remains out with a hand injury. After a season to forget, Robinson has now seen meaningful minutes in three straight games, providing a nice scoring punch whether it be off the bench or as a starter. Herro is likely to miss the remainder of the playoffs, meaning Robinson should continue to serve as a microwave scorer for as long as the Heat can stay alive.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Scores 20 points off bench

Robinson notched 20 points (7-9 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and two assists across 24 minutes during Saturday's 121-99 win over the Bucks in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. With Tyler Herro (hand) out, Robinson started Game 2 and posted 14 points, five rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes. Miami opted to go big in Game 3 and started Kevin Love over Robinson, but that didn't stop the Michigan product from making a major impact. Robinson finished second on the team in scoring behind Jimmy Butler, who posted 30 points before leaving the game with a lower-body injury. Robinson is currently shooting 76.9 percent from deep (10-for-13) over the first three games of the opening-round series.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Moves to bench in Game 3

Robinson will move to the bench for Saturday's game against the Bucks. Robinson made a spot start in Game 2 and finished with 14 points, five rebounds and three assists across 26 minutes, but he'll move back to a bench role here as head coach Erik Spoelstra wants to play with a bigger lineup. Kevin Love will start in his place.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Sinks four triples

Robinson had 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-6 3Pt), five rebounds and three assists over 26 minutes during Wednesday's 138-122 loss to the Bucks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Robinson joined the first unit in Game 2 and provided a scoring spark for the Heat. The triples aren't a surprise, as the sharpshooting forward has nailed 39.9 percent of his career threes. Minutes have been an issue for Robinson, with an average of only 16.5 minutes during the regular season. With teammate Tyler Herro (hand) out for the remainder of playoffs, Robinson should continue to see an expanded role and hopefully can bounce back after a disappointing regular season.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Draws starting nod for Game 2

Robinson will enter the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Bucks. Robinson joins the first unit for Wednesday's Game 2 of the Eastern Conference First Round in place of Tyler Herro (hand), who has been ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs. Though it's unclear whether or not this will be a permanent change, Robinson should carry some appeal as a daily fantasy option given his ability to score in bunches. However, we don't know how much Robinson will play considering he was a fringe rotation piece for most of the regular season.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Drops to bench role Sunday

Robinson will shift back to the bench for Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Magic, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Robinson made a spot start Friday but will return to the bench with Tyler Herro rejoining the action. The Heat could still limit the starters' minutes in this one with the Play-In Tournament ahead Tuesday, so Robinson may still have decent minutes off the bench.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Starting Friday

Robinson is starting Friday against Washington. The Heat will be playing without several key contributors during Friday's matchup, so Robinson will make his first start of the season. Over nine appearances since the start of March, he's averaged 4.4 points in 8.7 minutes per game.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Season of disappointment continues

Robinson recorded five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one assist over five minutes during Thursday's 129-101 victory over the 76ers. Robinson saw five minutes in garbage time, continuing what has been a disastrous season. While his bank account remains quite hefty, the Heat have to be thinking they may have made the wrong decision when they offered him his sizeable contract. At this point, it's hard to see him featuring much at all on most nights, making him a non-factor in basically all formats.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Available to play

Robinson (health and safety protocols) will be available to play Monday against the Jazz, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Robinson missed the past three games for Miami due to the health and safety protocols, but he's been cleared for Monday's game and should see his usual minutes off the bench. That said, Robinson isn't much more than a low-end, three-point streamer in deep leagues.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Upgraded to questionable

Robinson (health and safety protocols) has been upgraded to questionable for Monday's game against the Jazz. Robinson was initially listed as out, but he appears to have made some progress through the NBA's COVID-19 protocols and has a chance to suit up Monday. However, he hasn't been a consistent part of the rotation lately, so his potential availability likely won't have a major impact.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Still out

Robinson (health and safety protocols) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against Utah. Robinson remains out while in COVID-19 protocols. He's been a fringe part of head coach Erik Spoelstra's rotation this season, so his absence shouldn't have a major impact.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Enters protocols

Robinson entered the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols and won't play in Saturday's game against Orlando, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Robinson missed Friday's win over the Cavaliers an illness and has now entered the protocols ahead of the second half of the back-to-back set. The veteran wing has been a fringe piece in head coach Erik Spoelstra's rotation this season, so his absence Saturday shouldn't open up many additional minutes for any other player.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Won't play Friday

Robinson will miss Friday's game versus the Cavaliers due to illness, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Robinson didn't take the floor Wednesday despite being healthy, but an illness is behind his latest absence. Robinson's unavailability will leave the Heat down a bit of wing depth, but given the reason for his absence, it should be a short stint on the sidelines. His next opportunity to suit up arrives Saturday in Orlando.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Plays 23 minutes in return

Robinson produced six points (2-7 FG, 2-7 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 23 minutes during Wednesday's 116-105 loss to the Nets. Playing in his first game since the beginning of January, Robinson (finger) saw relatively significant minutes on Wednesday. The 28-year-old sharpshooter added a couple made threes and even recorded a rare steal. His overall production prior to his surgery this season wasn't especially valuable in standard leagues, so he's still just a three-point streamer at best.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Available Wednesday

Robinson (finger) is available for Wednesday's matchup against the Nets. After a 20-game absence due to finger surgery on his shooting hand, Robinson will return for the Heat's final matchup before the All-Star break. Given the long layoff, it seems reasonable to expect Robinson's minutes to be relatively limited despite Miami dealing with backcourt injuries. He's also struggling this year, averaging 6.9 points in 17.9 minutes per game while shooting a poor 36.8 percent from the field and 33.1 percent from three -- his third consecutive season with a declining three-point percentage.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Upgraded to questionable

Robinson (finger) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's matchup against the Nets. Robinson was previously ruled out through the break, but it appears he's recovered faster than expected. Still, it would be odd to bring Robinson back just one game before the All-Star break and risk re-injury instead of giving him more time off. Fantasy managers should keep tabs on his status, but after a 20-game absence, his minutes would likely be limited if available.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Out through break

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra intimated Saturday that Robinson (finger) will remain sidelined through the All-Star break, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Prior to Saturday's 107-103 overtime win over the Magic, Spoelstra said that of the Heat's injured players, Victor Oladipo (ankle) was the only candidate to return for either of Miami's final two games before the break, so Robinson appears safe to rule out for Monday's matchup with the Nuggets and Wednesday's contest in Brooklyn. Provided that his surgically repaired finger on his right hand has fully healed and he's good to go from a conditioning standpoint, Robinson could have a chance at being ready to go for the Heat's first game out of the break Feb. 24 in Milwaukee. Even if Robinson is available then, he won't be a lock to be included in Spoelstra's rotation.
